I am a fan of Luka but what you say is absurd, for Luka to be in the same conversation with MJ, LeBron or Kobe, Luka must first change his body because it is obvious that his physical condition is one of the worst that I have seen from any player in the NBA. . I said that he is playing (on a fairly high level) despite his injury and health issues, like MJ or Kobe in the past. And i said that people claim he is faking it in order to prevent giving him credit for leading his team to victories despite injuries, and because they don't want history to say that Luka was winning games injured just like Kobe and MJ.

The entire OKC strategy is quite literally to mug Luka on every possession and hope Luka wears down and screws up.
I think he is way more hurt than anyone realizes. I saw Luka dealing with his knee on the sidelines and it looked like it was swollen huge! But if he can maintain statue quo, i think its a blessing in disguise because its forcing him to play off the ball more and run the offense thru Ky a lot more. No, Luka becomes faster and more agile every playoff. Except this one. He knows how to win with any style. Great video man. Just wanna reiterate what some other people have said in the comments. He's probably more hurt than we realize and the media is letting on (what little they are). If this is what I think it is, it's inspiring what he's doing. This alleged knee sprain is critical. I sprained my left knee playing in highschool and I could barely walk / jog. Coach called me out in front of the team because he thought I was being overly dramatic because it was the start of the season and we weren't in season shape. After my MRI result, he took back his comments publicly to my teammates. It was only a partial LCL tear and it took months to heal. Most people know that if you fully tear an ACL, you're done for the season. Ligament damage is no joke. It's painful and you have no stability or lateral quickness. Many are calling out the external bleeding, because it's visible. That is the proverbial tip of the iceberg, surface-level evidence of deeper and more traumatic knee trauma causing the contusion. Tough dude. Worst case scenario is it gets worse through the playoffs to the point that it gets real messed up an he can't play rest of post-season. Hope and pray its a really mild sprain and he continues to ball for our enjoyment. Thanks for reading my wall of text.

Basic stats alone dismantle this narrative, as Luka has had ONE single stretch of 4 games shooting below 40% from 3 during 70 games of the regular season; other than that, he had at least 40% in roughly 1 out of every 2 games. Also he had only 2 stretches of 3 games with less than 4 3s made and will hit at least 4 in a ratio of 1 to less than 2 games.
Come playoff time - historically, his best games -, he had 5 games in a row shooting below 40% and 4 in a row with less than 4 made 3s. And we can see he's not taking more contested or harder shots from deep - quite the opposite, as he's taking his usual shots or even easier ones. Not hard to see those numbers are statistically aberrant unless there's an outside factor affecting his shooting. And it takes no genious to wonder whether that could be a sprained knee messing up his balance and mechanics.

Not trying to give in to any “faker” allegations but Luka doesn’t have a jump shot, he has a set shot so his knee has more effect on harder shots like step backs so he should be shooting less tough shots.
Also this has been a long running thing but he hasn’t jumped on a shot at the rim in at least a couple months. The last time I’ve ever seen him try and jump at the rim was the embarrassing dunk attempt he had at all star weekend. Basically what I’m getting at Luka is so amazing that somehow he figured a way to keep up his MVP season while not even being able to jump, lol.

Somehow it is totally ok to rest healthy players at the end of regular season, but in the playoffs they go all out like there is no tomorrow.
