This is insane if you think about it. Andy has had around 6000 years to fight as an immortal, skillful but reckless, taking lethal shots and hits. Suddenly she's forced to fight not only wounded, but knowing that she can actually die now for the first time in thousands of years. She's a warrior honed on instinct, and suddenly she can't rely on instinct anymore because she was used to taking hits and now she cant take any. Such a good movie and scene
@@alphaangelo9837 tf is wrong with u? They're 2 actors just coz they're great on screen or have good chemistry in a movie don't mesn they're like that in real life df
Except for the occasional swordfighting between immortals, this is probably what a modern Highlander reboot would look like against James Horton and the Hunters.
One bit that was unbelievable was the knife/extendible baton fight, *Andy has 6000 years of combat experience,* all but the past few hundred years have been with meele weapons, and a soldier was a challenge for her? The best mortal knife fighting martial arts expert in the world ("10th dan in knife-jitsu") would be roadkill to her. She could have stabbed his weapon hand or cut off some of his fingers as he was trying to attack her, and in the same smooth motion finished him off with a cut to the throat or a stab in an eye or another vital spot that's a quick kill. Any hand to hand going for more than a few seconds doesn’t make sense. You attack one of them, and they avoid it cleanly then hit you perfectly with a blow you never even saw coming. Assuming they don't beat you to it and you're taken out before you even get off your punch or kick attempt. And trying to grapple with one would not be advisable either.
It didn’t feel like he was so much of a challenge to her. She definitely took longer to kill him than usual, either because he was better than most of her opponents, or because she was adjusting to having to fight as a mortal. Like, she had to be more careful than she normally would in a fight.
I enjoyed this movie years ago. One thing that stuck in my mind was that an immortal was captured and placed in a metal cage underwater. Her fate was to drown and revive for eternity. Am I thinking of another movie?
Will she get her immortality back is a question I have. Being the main star of the movie and their fighting technic kinda relying on the immortality aspect. I would expect that somehow it comes back else she diminishes as a lead warrior.
Ever tried fighting in full battle dress ????the impairment to maneuverability and speed is a disadvantage often times. I prefer the armor I was gifted by a tribal chef of the hunn back in 1244 , hard leather armor with steel reinforcement in key areas, a bit heavier than the stuff now but it protected more of the body , caught a needle bodkin in the back back in 1346 from a Welch archer I put another through his eye but the armor protected me only had half an inch in my flesh.
Andy and all 4 are immortals, but done is believeable way..the young black gal is also hot.. they take the bullelts and come about and shoot again! This would be truly amazing with a 2nd moive about same. blah blah.. schedules cannot meet someare on diff shoots. dayamnnnn C T you are hot
Such a cool premise for a movie yet they ruined it with a cheap played out story, immortals are hunted by a rich guy because he wants to be immortal and take over the world blah blah , it started we thought it was gonna be a team of immortals righting wrongs taking out the worst of the worst doing what normal teams couldn't so, but no

😂😂😂😂Lucifer Almighty! He smells like all the blood he has taken and killed and raped and he’s mopey and sad and smells and ugly af
Their coordination was off the charts... Andy's fight skills were insane
Well she been around awhile
The way they do seemlessly slip into the formation they use to protect Andy it makes me wonder just how often did they team up with mortals
I’m guessing there were some people they trusted over the years, that they fought with and protected to the best of their abilities.
(Shown in the movie)all characters fought alongside many mortals during many famous wars throughout history @surviverskywalker6515
Probably (literally) wrote the book on personal protection detail tactics and procedures.
@@Osnwsyix3n I loved the photos of them fighting in a variety of wars through the ages, alongside ordinary soldiers.
The coordination of that last fight scene must’ve taken weeks to get down because they did it so fucking perfect
why did you cut out "you shot my boyfriend in his mouth" ? thats the best part
“You shouldn’t have done that.”
One of the best action movies ever. 10/10.

Love how they shielded Charlize Theron with their body... I would do the same... XOXOXOXO
That's because her immortality went away, which is a deviation form the comics.
Come on DC and MCU , Charlize needs a kickass superhero character. 😍
I’m almost certain she turned down a role
She did
Which character
@@mecool9560 turned down offer to play Jean grey in X-Men and also turned down an Amazonian role in WW to play Diana's mother.
@@chinenyeumekwe_nth . I'm glad she turned those roles down . I think she would enjoy a character more physical.
The choreography in this movie was off the charts.
This is a real good flick. I like the story and looking forward to more installments
John Wick changed movies forever
Why don't keanu and charlize get married together?

This movie was the best I had seen in a long time. It’s not perfect and could use improvement but it was fucking awesome...
She says "Enough of this shit" grabs an axe and starts chopping.
Iko Uwais from The Raid Movies should be a part in the second act
