Have you heard of the rear diffs burning out? overheating and then redering the rear diff locking up , opening up and finding the housing worn out?

I've never heard of this happening on the XRAY. Somethings that may cause that to happen are not having enough differential fluid, or the differential getting too hot. I like how XRAY makes things easy with weighing out the differential fluid and the new design on the GTXE chassis has cutouts to provide airflow to the rear differential to cool it. Are you having issues?

@@atharsgarage4197 we have 2 2022, mine and another locale with burned diffs. We now have 3 2023 and one already has same diff problem as 2022. 2 others still ok. Housings are same part numbers from old and finding internal housing damaged by the side gear shims.
Now sell old 2022s. Diffs not holding up after 4 races. The other rebuilds after 2 races. Basically 1 race day each not 2 day races.

All diffs built to spec. Weighed and measured with calipers per instructions. These cars get very hot.

Odd that is happening. Have you reached out to XRAY? They have pretty good customer service when I reached out to them regarding an issue I found with the manual.

I'll be keeping an eye out for this issue since the car is going to be on 6S. I'll report back if there are issues and how it's solved.

I don't see a lot of footage and use on XRAY cars. Are a long time user? I run Kyosho Inferno's GT2 VE cars.

I find that XRAY isn't a huge brand in the USA. I was recently introduced to XRAY at my local hobby shop, HoustonRC, and I've come to appreciate the brand. Best manuals in the industry, and it truly gives you a unique build experience. How do you like the Kyosho Inferno GT2 VE?

@@atharsgarage4197 I have three. They are very good cars. I've been up grading and getting some better speed and driving performance.
