I’m hit hardest in Jan, February and March by seasonal depression. Christmas gets me through December but after that is just dreary sunless days, thinking about spring and being outside helps me in April. ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃
This is more work than it needs to be! I get an "under the bed" storage container, put all the thirsty plants in it, and pour water halfway up the containers. They bottom chug for a couple of hours while I do laundry and cook. When I'm done with chores, I pick each plant up, wipe the bottom with a towel, and back to their cachepot and saucers they go. I then pour the remaining water back into the can, because after I've added fertilizer, Silica, Cal-Mag, BTI, Systemic...I'm not wasting any of that expensive liquid!
I have two Hydroponic Gardyn Systems in my kitchen sitting side by side. The grow lights are so powerful for fighting seasonal depression. Even when nothing is planted in them I leave them on. I couldn’t imagine living without their light. They help my mood so much. I highly recommend them. Loved this video.
Ugh, the SAD is real... My plants are showing it, too. I need to take an approach like you have here rather than expecting myself to give them the full shower treatment every watering. Thanks for the inspo and hang in there!
PS I love that you keep your plant chores to under 20 mins - I feel like I can actually watch and enjoy the video rather than just popping it on in the background for an hour and not actually seeing it.
If my shower that's across the hall from my plant room didn;t have a detachable shower head, I'd deffo use a bucket and cooling rack. Have you checked in on the renters of the MO house to see how they are loving it (and using the greenhouse)?
💖I love the new monstera on a plank.💖. How many plants were in your Momma Adansonii pot and what was she supported with? Did she have vines that eventually just trailed down? My Adansonii is growing fast up a 4 foot trellis and sizing up. I would love for her to look like Momma. Helllp.🤩😍💖
If you don’t have a wood stove in your new house that’s probably why you have higher humidity levels? I know when I have our wood stove going it just sucks ALL of the moisture out of the air even when I have a huge pan of water sitting on top of it. ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃

I live in a half underground apt. Sun comes in late morning early afternoon. I would live in that sun porch in the winter. 😂
Becca I am happy you git some watering done. I just sat with a heatpad on my shoulder 😂
HI BECCA 💜
Wishing my watering was that quick 😂
