The airstrait leave my hair dehydrated and straw like. But the air wrap gives it shine and volume. It really depends on the persons hair. Everyone is different. What I do is literally use the air straight to dry and straighten my hair then the airwrap on my roots and ends to give it volume and remove the straw like feel.

Getting airwrap was a huge mistake for me because it leaves my hair frizzy,baby hair poking out all over. I even use Tresemme heat protection spray and styling spray. My old Philips straightener works better than that plus the machine is heavy,hands get tired easily you can't keep going with that again and again.
I totally get what you mean about the baby hair going a bit wild with the airwrap. Mine does that too, but luckily, after a few minutes, it kind of settles down and ends up looking sleek and beautiful. The main reason I opted for the airwrap and airstrait is the lower heat styling temperature. With my thin hair, it really makes a difference in preventing breakage and split ends. Before, I struggled to grow my hair long, and now it's longer than ever and looks so much healthier. I'm insanely grateful for that, even though I agree, it's not a perfect tool for everyone 💁♀️✨
I feel like they are not straight, the roots have a slight cult. But overall you look great, just for $500? I bought the Airstrait but haven’t tried it yet and the roots worry me.
I bought it because how many times have I wanted to go from Wet to straight? Many times, but because my hands get so tired I have never been able to give myself a decent blow dry.

Ja mam Airwrap od 2019, ale od początku nie byłam zadowolona i tak muszę wykończyć prostownica. Na corrale się nie zdecydowałam bo mam bdb prostownicę philipsa, ale airstrait zakupię. W Europie ma być w tym roku
I use it mostly when I curl my hair with airwrap, but when I straighten my hair I find cold pass unnecessary - I only use cool option at the end when I feel my hair is not fully dry :)
