I loved your VLOG style video! I too have been spiraling a bit post election. Stitching, knitting and crocheting always brings me peace. Light a CANDLE and pray for Ukraine.
I'm always so impressed when someone says they stitch from paper without marking anything. My skill doesn't hold a candle to that. I have to mark immediately when I make like 5 stitches. So impressed with your finishes, they're lovely!
Can so relate to your feelings. Your video was just what I needed today. The candle in Barbara Ana's design is appropriate for this time of year. I'm so glad your video showed up in my recommended feed this morning.
Liked the vlog format. I go between staring into the abyss and complete rage. Glad you were able to move forward and get into some comfort stitching/crafting.
I’m so glad I watched you this morning, I too grew Dahlias this summer and I dug mine up yesterday. I didn’t know about storing them in anything other than a box! Off to google how to store them. I’m still unable to wrap my head around the election outcome and am so thankful I knit, cross stitch, garden, cook and practice yoga, have 3 dogs…anything to avoid turning on the news. I finished the deer chart last winter and had him framed and he’s waiting to come out with the Christmas decorations.
My stitching has definitely been my therapy since the election. The future doesn't look as bleak when I'm surrounded by my art. Love the vlog style of your video. You have inspired me to clean up my raised beds and use them for planting flowers next spring. I want to grow Dahlias now! 😊
Staring into the abyss is a good way to describe it. Thanks for sharing your crafting journey with us. It’s always nice to feel not so alone. I liked this format 📷
I love the vlog style! I typically don't comment since I watch on a TV, but I do always 'like' your videos. You are so fun to watch! It's cold & snowy in MN, so I'm burning a candle while I watch you. Thanks also for making me find my camera emoji! Who knew there was a whole other emoji world outside the smiling faces. 📸
It is a very anxious time, and I’m finding stitching helps me deal, relax and escape when needed. Your finishes are amazing! The candle glow on your Gothic Light is enchanting!
This style was so relaxing and I loved spending the time with you! Thank you so much for sharing and all the work you must have done to prepare it for us! ❤
Love the presentation today. Not one candle, not two candles, not three candles, not even four candles, but five candles in the beautiful Barbara Ana "Gothic Light" cross-stitch. Just love it! 🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯💖😊📸
You helped me realize I’ve been stress stitching all month. I knew I had been that one night, but I don’t think I’d realized how much it’s been helping me keep my cool the last few weeks.
I enjoyed the vlog today. It's good to change things up when you need to. You have so many nice projects. I ❤them all! I sympathize with putting things places and then forgetting where. The story of my life these days. Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving! Candle🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯
📷 I really enjoyed this vlog -style format. Love your haircut! It looks so cute. Hope you enjoyed your stitching time and lit a CANDLE or two to relax. Looking forward to your next episode … Happy Thanksgiving 🍁🦃💖
I feel and share your unspoken feelings, and have done a bit of staring into the abyss myself... instead I have been trying to bury my head in the sand and sing "Don't worry 'bout a thing" to myself over and over. xoxoxo
🪡📸 The vlog style is great! So glad you got to spend some time with Arica and the girls. Love your Vikings shirt! I'm in Manitoba, Canada and my son and his wife have season tickets and travel down for many of the games. They say the CFL doesn't hold a CANDLE to the NFL!
I have to wonder how women of old used to stitch by the light of a candle, when I can barely get by without strong readers and focused electric light of varying brightness!
Thank you for sharing what you did in your opening. You found a way to say what I wasn't able to haha. It's been hard to know what to say, but you handled that all very well :). This was such a fun format! You did great editing this all together and excellent music choices. You are seriously cool and so talented! I loved the martha doc on netflix! so good.
📸... Hey Ms. Beck! I liked the vlog-style FlossTube this time around. Hope you have fun at your meet-up & with all that stitchy goodness to work on. Your dog is adorable. Hang in there, obviously civically-minded friend. Here's to current events ushering in an end as well as new beginnings... though the packaging and message of the catalyst "be frought." There's always power in creativity, any way you shake it~~ from the Midwest, US. ☮☯
First time watching and I love the vlog style. Gothic Light is fantastic as is your little Stacy Nash squirrel. Would love to follow your book- related content too - love your shelves. Candle! 📸
Enjoyed this vlog. My niece lives in Seattle and pops up to Vancouver quite often. Funny story about your border questions. :) Look forward to seeing your tree finish. 📸
I'm finally at the point of not losing sleep over it...but still not over it. This was a nice glimpse into your daily life. As a longtime gardener, my eyes went wide when you mentioned you bought 50 more dahlias! They are a bit finicky about their storage conditions, so hopefully you can get it figured out without too many loses. Unfortunately my back has dictated an extreme scaleback of gardening. Am I pointing out the obvious when I noted your position when you are stitching on your sofa? My back would be screaming at me...just sayin. Look forward to next time!
@@stevebuckwalter3592 thank you for watching! I ended up storing my tubers in vermiculite- they are in tubs in my garage so I can check on them periodically over the winter. I think you are on to something with my stitching posture. 😂 I need to be more aware of that.
📸enjoyed your format and content right to the end. Your finishes are awesome. Big fan of Barbara Ana Designs hence, candle please. I also like to knit. Possibly you could include your knitting projects. Happy Stitching 🫶
