Apparently dropping the weapon to your friend and having them drop it back helps your damage. Would NOT recommend doing this with anyone you dont know/trust or course.
Damage scaling seems to be based on the highest level weapon the host has acquired. I assume that's why this trading works, your gear was being down-scaled to the hosts.
@JimboSlice02 it hasn't been the worst thing on xbox. There are periods where there's really nasty rubber banding or frame drops, but they're not super common. Yea they're annoying, but they are not super terrible on gameplay. But the damage thing is the only real deterrent for me, really disheartening to be doing less than half the damage of my buddy while my attack rating is like 120 higher.
Gregorys sword is actually just guts's dragonslayer but cyan colored and I fucking love it. Both A+ in strength and faith. There even is an armor set that looks 80% like gut's berserker armor!

I think I have heard more people misusing 'missable' since this game dropped than ever before.. Missable when used in reference to gaming has alwayss meant that an item/event CAN NOT BE OBTAINED in the current playthrough after progressing past a given point. All of these things maybe 'easy to miss' but I'm fairly certain that the majority can still be obtained by returning to their location.
You didn't include the corrupted judge clerics sword? That thing has like A and B scaling in all stats and if you invest in all of the stats it can do over 1000 damage with an R1 swing, killing most small enemies in 1 shot.
Yo so to anyone who can answer this. I've played multiple souls games before but for some reason after getting to the memorial vestige everything is incredibly tanky. Literally taking 6+ hits to kill, even the most basic fodder enemies take 6+ hits while i'm over here dealing 150 dmg per hit.
Need to upgrade your weapon more. I'm at level 70 at endgame and am 2 full charge attack killing most anything in the game bosses and mini bosses aside
150 damage isn’t much unless it’s a really fast weapon and even then it’s all about your play style & lords of the fallen i believe is a faster play then previous souls games. But anvil hammer is like at 480 something damage per hit upgraded at +6
My buddy is dual wielding Ravager Gregory's Sword, he used the crafters essence rune in one and pretty much one shots everything. If you get the Jefferys dagger and max it out it has 3 universal slots then add +damage runes to it then off hand it can make you hit like a truck so for me i am using a 2 handed sword so i added 3 runes that add 2 handed damage so thats an extra 30% 2 handed damage. The dagger is also good for an agility build because the cold stacks fast.
@nathaniel2821 yeah, currently am, but seems all the best weapons scale with strength. Weapon scaling is my issue so far. Also, wither build seems underwhelming compared to fire and poison
