Class of 2011 Anteater here! UCI definitely lives up to "Under Construction Indefinitely"--there are so many new buildings that weren't there 10 years ago.
@@CampusMania depends on the university. Some older universities used up all their land and have no other areas to go to. UCI on the other hand is expanding at an ever increasing rate
@@ky-vinhmai2305 Even the ones who have no other areas to go to, some of them end up building a new campus or an extension at a different place, sometimes at a different state or a different country!
Hey great video 😊👍. There's another part of the campus you missed out on, which is the UCI north campus near jamboree and campus Dr. That's where the UCI arboretum is! Love the drone shots. Keep it up!
Thank you so much! Yes, I know that I missed some parts of the campus. I was in a hurry to catch some shots before the sunset. At least I got some general overview.
@@CampusMania haha no problem. 😊I meant that last line in a figurative manner, since UCI is not literally the biggest campus ( I believe UC Merced or UC Davis is), but it's an inside joke that we Anteaters share, due to the layout of the campus😂. It takes forever sometimes to go to classes or simply from point a to point b, since it was master planned from the beginning as a giant circle. There's a lot of lore behind the campus design, which is easily looked up on sites such as reddit 🤫
this is awesome, love the video! amazing drone work. I'm making a video about UC Irvine life and was wondering if I could possibly use some of this footage in it? I will definitely give credit to you and your channel! (on screen and link in the description)
I don't have too much information/guidelines related to transferring from community college to a school like UC Irvine. But maybe someone from the audience can give you some useful information about that. All the best in your studies!
The places are completely different. The last video was in Utah. This one is in California. They are very far from each other. Check them on the map. The distance between them takes around 10 hours driving!
@@CampusMania A very big 10 hour distance!!! 😯 But I'mean, in similar places like parks and homes and factories and businesses, only one architect was specific to construction in California!😄
@@soheirabdel-kader9920 Yes, the layout of the buildings in the United States doesn't change that much going from one place to another. It changes only when you go to a big city like New York or Los Angeles. Irvine is a small city, so looking from the top (and even on the ground) there won't be too much difference between Irvine (in California) and Utah.
I'm planning to do UCSB next month. Cornell, Yale, and UT Austin are definitely on my to-do-list as well in the future. Please like the video to help with the TH-cam algorithm.
I tried doing this in some of the other videos. Sometimes it's just too difficult for me to know the label of each building. Also, it takes so much time to research those things and I'm doing this all by myself. So, I don't have enough time for that. I'm trying to do my best though.

It seems like this is true for almost all US Universities lol

@@CampusMania just gave it a thumbs up 👍. Fyi I believe UCI has the largest campus size by area of any UC 😮 so I don't blame you 😅

It would be nice if landmarks are labeled and narrated. The visuals are great, but without the context the video fairly useless.
