I am final year student at UHS. I want to do internship from AKU next year. Mean I have to apply this year may be in may! My question is can I apply? As our program ends late than you guys. We write our prof exam in Feb or march. So I won't have my final year result by Nov which is credential for internship at AKU. So what's the plan for uhs student? Can you guide me plz

Yes, there are two track
Track 1: 4 year programme
For track 1 eligible criteria is fcps 1 and 2 years in general surgery
Track 2: 6 years programme
For track 2 eligible criteria is fcps 1

Aku is way better option than going to UK.
Why?
Prestige and ACGME accredited training program. More robust training than any British hospital.
Hammad International is also acgme accredited.
When a training centre is acgme accredited means its quality for a reason. None of UK hospitals are ACGME.
I met a an Akuh nephrologist. she was not so good. her approach was not good.
How to get ENT residency at aku?
Otolaryngology Residency is a five-year programme, which includes three months each of General Surgery & Plastic surgery rotations. Rotations are in accordance with College of Physicians and Surgeons guidelines
MBBS from an institution recognised by PMC, with minimum score of 55 per cent and above
Eligibility criter:
One year internship / house job
FCPS Part 1 in Otolaryngology
Candidates who are selected for the residency, but have not completed surgery rotation, will be offered the required training of General Surgery and Plastic surgery at AKUH.
