Thank you but I dont think we should buy clothes or do anything else based on the owner’s skin color . Isnt it the thing that we thought was wrong in the first place ? And no im not white
She’s highlighting and supporting black owned businesses, that many of us may not even be aware of. I don’t see how that’s a problem. If the product is good quality and looks great, I’m all for it. If that’s not your thing, kudos to you.
POC have been and continue to be major consumers of YT-owned goods and services, which benefits YT people to our collective economic detriment. In fact, having been denied access to the means of production, as well as rights to the products/inventions borne of our ingenuity, by YT-based systemic racism, we need this type of initiative to address/remedy the economic hardship such restrictive policies and practices have wrought. Once we establish a firm framework and foundation for generational wealth, we can entertain being more open/inclusive with respect to others’ coffers being enriched by our sweat equity.
I have “real” bags and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the nkuwan we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Chanel boutique with her and no one can tell she has a fake
