Glad I found these videos, the harness is a game changer, Ive been holding on the bar pad trying to do the same thing. looks like it harness making time.
CC is soooo adorable! Thank you for the tips! Now I am thinking to get my 15 month girl on bike with a harness and a quick draw. haha to not hurt my back while holding her
Hello. My boy is 2.5 years old and has been on the balance bike for about 3 months now. I am really struggling with the knocks and falls, I try my best but don’t have the knowledge that you do. I can’t help thinking if I put more thought into it and went down a similar path to you, there wouldn’t of been any injuries. I’ve only seen a couple of videos of your little girl riding but everything seems so smooth and perfect, my question is did you guys have and falls and bumps along the way, or does a little more thought and preparation eliminate this entirely?
Hey Steve! great video you have there! you mentioned that you will do a video on how you train cc to this stage, but I can't wait any longer! hahahaha I just got my 10mo a strider pro yesterday (with rocking base). she already has a similar harness. but I don't know where to start her. can you briefly list down what you did with her please?
The brand is called OCF. A local shop had them but that was around three years ago. If you google search strider fork offsetters you might be able to find some.
What harness are you using and the brackets on the rear wheel? My 11 month old loves her strider and trying to get her own feel on the bike. Thanks for the awesome vid! Subscribed!
Derek Andrade thanks bud. The harness is an in house brand from a chain of baby shops in Hong Kong called mothercare. Any harness works but if you have a choice, get the sturdy looking one. The rear wheel has fork offsetters ( designed to extend the offset of the fork ) that I adapted and angle the lower the stand over height of the bike. Cheers for the comment. Ride On.
@@SteveGouldChewy Awesome! Could you point me in the direction of what sizing you for the offset adapters or links to where I can purchase them :). Thanks again Steve!
LOL. She looks so cool and confident!
That’s awesome! Greetings from seattle. Thanks for posting this
Thx buddy 😊
Please show us how you started her on the bike. My baby girl is 7 months old and was just gifted a little balance bike
This is pretty much it. I just hold her shoulders or use the harness. It works well 👌🏻
Thats awesome. I'm definitely getting my 16 month old daughter one for xmas now.
Fabulous. Glad to be a source of inspiration. Enjoy and Merry Christmas 🎄
@@SteveGouldChewy merry Christmas to you as well 🌲

Thx Chip. Yes pro tip, let the child control the bike and you can guide the child. Wobbly is ok, it means they are learning how the bike handles. 👌🏻

Thanks! And good plan, my back is knackered 🤣
I was just wondering your opinion of the pneumatic tires vs the hard plastic ones for 14m old. Not sure which I should go with. Thanks!
She is adorable! 😃
Taring Tao thank you 😊
