Process section of Coperion's twin screw extruder ZSK

The process section of ZSK twin screw extruders is designed as a modular system. It consists of several barrels in which the co-rotating screws operate. The barrels and screw elements are configured individually to the applications. Different process zones are created for conveying, plasticizing, mixing and shearing, homogenizing, devolatilizing and pressure build-up.
Das Verfahrensteil des ZSK Doppelschneckenextruders ist nach dem Baukastensystem aufgebaut. Es besteht aus mehreren Gehäusen, in denen sich die Schnecken gleichsinnig drehen. Die Konfiguration der Gehäuse und Schneckenelemente wird individuell auf die Anwendung abgestimmt. Je nach Bedarf werden verschiedene Verfahrenszonen erzeugt, zum Fördern, Plastifizieren, Mischen und Scheren, Homogenisieren, Entgasen und Druckaufbauen.
