The idea isn't half-bad, could be incredibly interesting if they made it more about how psycho some of them are, instead of drama. Sad that this unique idea wasn't executed well.

Actually there are different kinds of wild bananas. Most don’t have large seeds and just little flesh. They’re usually smaller, sweeter and sometimes a different color with some seeds inside but not too many or too big.

nah its blantantly copied from sdr2's (super danganronpa 2) plot its basically a murder mystery visual novel game and as someone who has played it, i can say that the i-land is way too similar to it. the i-land was also released later than when sdr2 was released (sdr2 was released in 2014 i think? and this was was from 2019) in sdr2 all the characters were in a simulation, if their avatars die, they die irl. just like in the i-land. they used to be shitty people who did lots of fucked up stuff to th world and basically caused a war. the people in the i-land were also criminals. sooo yeah its kinda similar

It sounds like they fed Lost and Westworld to an A.I. and then had it write a tv series. Without any understanding of actual human beings or what real life is like.
There's a theory that The OA isn't really cancelled. If you recall, the show ended on the set of a show with the actress suffering some form of trauma. The theory is that the show within the show was cancelled. A couple of reddit posts have said they've spotted some of the actors from the OA hanging out together for lunch or whatnot. I think we're all in for a huge treat.
I have to admit, I actually enjoyed this show. Loved the concept. I did feel like this was supposed to be a show with at least two seasons. It all felt rushed. Like parts of the show were missing.

@The Cost the whole stab scene didn't even make any sense. She killed her children and then she was driving her car into the ocean in one scene. Then she went back to stab herself? What? Why? Did she leave the car in the ocean and swim back. And why go back to the husband at all if she was just going to kill herself. Nothing about that made any sense

How do you not know your fingers are missing or even check when you wake up with a bandaged hand? What? The was I see K.C. there were 3 scenes in the flashbacks. She kills the children. She drives the car into the ocean after killing them. She stabs herself in front of her husband (just stab him, so stupid). No matter how you order these scenes they don't make any sense. I'm amazed anyone could enjoy this, the acting was terrible and the plot was nonsense but you like what you like I guess lol

Jack K it’s a huge over simplification of the ending of Lost that gets thrown about all the time by people who don’t really remember it, didn’t watch it, only came back to watch the last episode after missing loads of it, or who just flat out didn’t pay attention. Lost is a show of its time that changed the way a lot of tv is made. It’s great and I still really love it. The last season is the weakest and yes the ending has some issues but I still love it. It gets better the more I go back and watch the whole show.

Hekko you must not have watched many shows then. The first season of Prison Break is amazing. Breaking bad all seasons were pretty entertaining. Walking dead first couple seasons were good. 13 reasons why season 1 was good. Money heist was funny, sad, nerve racking. On my block was also cool with less budget for production. Those are all the series I have watched. Each one was single handedly 10x better than this show. Everyone has different opinions but i still recommend you watch those shows rather than this. 😂

And I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like, along with the colors everything on Netflix movies or a few series like this seems so “perfect” and “clear” (I can’t really explain that any better) that it comes out terrible and unrealistic.

its basically a murder mystery visual novel game and as someone who has played it, i can say that the i-land is way too similar to it. the i-land was also released later than when sdr2 was released (sdr2 was released in 2014 i think? and this was was from 2019)
in sdr2 all the characters were in a simulation, if their avatars die, they die irl. just like in the i-land. they used to be shitty people who did lots of fucked up stuff to th world and basically caused a war. the people in the i-land were also criminals.

There's a theory that The OA isn't really cancelled. If you recall, the show ended on the set of a show with the actress suffering some form of trauma. The theory is that the show within the show was cancelled. A couple of reddit posts have said they've spotted some of the actors from the OA hanging out together for lunch or whatnot. I think we're all in for a huge treat.

@The Cost the whole stab scene didn't even make any sense. She killed her children and then she was driving her car into the ocean in one scene. Then she went back to stab herself? What? Why? Did she leave the car in the ocean and swim back. And why go back to the husband at all if she was just going to kill herself. Nothing about that made any sense

The was I see K.C. there were 3 scenes in the flashbacks. She kills the children. She drives the car into the ocean after killing them. She stabs herself in front of her husband (just stab him, so stupid). No matter how you order these scenes they don't make any sense. I'm amazed anyone could enjoy this, the acting was terrible and the plot was nonsense but you like what you like I guess lol
The first mistake was trying to copy Lost and thinking it will be successful. The second mistake was EVERYTHING ELSE.

Jack K it’s a huge over simplification of the ending of Lost that gets thrown about all the time by people who don’t really remember it, didn’t watch it, only came back to watch the last episode after missing loads of it, or who just flat out didn’t pay attention.
Lost is a show of its time that changed the way a lot of tv is made. It’s great and I still really love it. The last season is the weakest and yes the ending has some issues but I still love it. It gets better the more I go back and watch the whole show.

Hekko you must not have watched many shows then. The first season of Prison Break is amazing. Breaking bad all seasons were pretty entertaining. Walking dead first couple seasons were good. 13 reasons why season 1 was good. Money heist was funny, sad, nerve racking. On my block was also cool with less budget for production. Those are all the series I have watched. Each one was single handedly 10x better than this show. Everyone has different opinions but i still recommend you watch those shows rather than this. 😂

The thing about remembering how to resuscitate someone despite not remembering being a nurse doesn't seem that unrealistic, IIRC people with amnesia can still retain skills that they know by heart. Though that doesn't really help this show much.

Wait, wait. People who did horrible crimes are put on an island with no memory. Said island is actually a simulation made to redeem them. The group devolves to murder... This is just a watered down version of the plot of Super Danganronpa 2!

The Hispanic actress is on that movie called “down” on Hulu. She pissed me off in that movie too. Don’t flick off the man who is gonna come back and kill you’ PS it’s an alright movie, but when I saw her in this, I already knew where this show was going
She was the idiot cop on Under The Dome as well.
She was so lame. I enjoyed the ep but it could of been a lot better. Also she is a little slooz in "Down" too. So I thought it was so funny that her acting and character was the same in both.
She plays the same character no matter what show or movie.
She's the hot chick in "Senorita" music video by Pharell and Justin Timberlake.
She is just awful. Send her to acting classes please!
