I love watching people react to Astro, especially if they are dancer or singer because I find that really interesting to have professional opinions and explainations on their choreography. The colors represent them: MJ (orange), the oldest, main vocal Jinjin (green) leader, main rapper, lead dancer (he's my bias ^^) Eunwoo (blue) face of the group, lead vocal Moonbin (red) main dancer, lead vocal Rocky (indigo) lead rapper, main dancer, sub-vocal Sanha (yellow) maknae, lead vocal And it's a rainbow so the purple is us, Arohas, it's the color of our fandom :) They're having a comeback on August, 2nd and for the mood trailers they used their colors again, I find that cute. They don't have MV for Again because it was on a special album like a gift to Arohas. I read that the song didn't fit their cute concept at the time but I don't know if it's the real reason.Rocky (the one at the very end of the video for Again) did a lot of dance included ballet, he's amazing, you can find many videos of him and his own choreographies on their channel. He's really really talented. He's known for his spins ahah I'm not sure about Moonbin because i don't know anything about dance ahah and Jinjin is specialized in house dance. He did a lot of competition and was in a dance team before he debuted with Astro. I hope you can react to their other dance practices because they are always this good. Synchronized kings. The one for "Moonwalk" or "With you" are really cool. There are no MV because it's B-sides but the choreographies are amazing. The one for "When you call my name" is really fun too.
ASTRO is undervalued. The broadcasting industry prefers only large agencies. ASTRO started with the underground. It is a rare and proud Korean band that can compose, write lyrics, and even make choreography. They are really close and brotherly. I was a trainee for 4 to 10 years. Their daily videos are really crazy, lovely, and fun, so watching them when you're depressed can make you happy again. The whole world needs to know how great ASTRO is.
Astro has 2 main dancers, rocky and moonbin. They’re both phenomenal dancers and have been dancing together for yearssss, they are called the ancestor line because they stayed in the company the longest. You would enjoyyy watching them dance :) Especially rocky, he has been learning dancing since he was 5 and has mastered all genre of dance, contemporary, ballet,jazz,bboy,hiphop u name it. Also we cannot forget about jinjin, he graduated as top of the academy in house dance genre, although kpop doesn’t use that many house steps (?) , jinjin also has his time to shine during dance breaks and special dance performances…in conclusion astro is a hidden gem in kpop that not many people know and i just know they would shine one day :D thanks for reacting to astro 💕✨
Rocky, the one with the big square graphic on his shirt who ends Again, has ballet and contemporary training. The rest don’t but a lot of Astro choreo pulls from jazz so they’re all very competent with that kind of dance and movement style. The group on the whole would spend nine hours a day in the dance studio a day before their debut so they’re all extremely talented and bonded group. The pirouette into the jump was a jazz style instead of ballet cause their leg is turned in instead of out and in the jump they brought their legs up in a bend instead of keeping them straight. Chris, I'm so glad that you're able to see ASTRO in all their amazing glory. They're underrated in general, since they really all can do anything, but watching their dance practices really gives you a sense of how cohesive they are as a group, and how talented as well. As others have said, it's worth noting the height differences in the group, between leader Jinjin's 5'9" and Sanha's (now) 6'1", which makes those jumps the group choreography hit differently when all the heads/feet are visually at the same height. They clearly work hard for that level of perfection. I love the look between Rocky and Moonbin just before the spins and jumps in Again. Like, "you good?" and "yep" back. I'd recommend their dance practices for Moonwalk (which has a different camera angle than usual because they perform it on a narrower stage), and MV/practice for All Night for its floor work, Blue Flame for the dynamics. The changing concepts for them as a group is also worth seeing, because both of these are 2017 tracks, and they've matured in basically every conceivable way, including their youngest member going from 15 at debut to now 21, and allowing them to do more "sexy" stuff. Also, they have a new mini album coming in a few days, so we'll be excited to see what that brings! Thanks for your reaction!
Rocky is the one with ballet training (he's one of the top 5 dancers in kpop, in my opinion), he also studied tap and trained to play 'Billy' in the musical 'Billy Elliot' for a year right before he joined Fantagio when he was 12 (he once explained his parents persuaded him to become an idol trainee rather than a musical theatre performer by buying him a Nintendo, lol). He does a lot of the choreography for Astro's songs, especially the B-sides, and came 2nd place in "Dance War" (a masked dance competition between idol group main dancers on 1theK - I really recommend checking it out!). He actually has a couple of contemporary-style dance performances here on youtube that he uploaded over the years.

The rock paper scissors at the beginning of the baby dance practice was to decide their floor marker. They use it to distinguish the center and front of the "stage". Rocky, who lost, had to use his little cut out as the center marker. This is also kind of a funny reference to the moment at the end of the choreo when Rocky and Sanha actually play rock paper scissors for a moment in the back.

Another amazing aspect of Astro is that they have a pretty huge height gap from the shortest to the tallest member, but you really don't notice it in their dancing... they are work together so well.

So, in the Baby M/V, MoonBin (lead vocal, main dancer) was red (you said you liked him), JinJin (main rapper, leader) was green, Cha Eunwoo (vocal, visual) was blue, Sanha (lead vocal, maknae) was yellow, MJ (main vocal, oldest) was orange, Rocky (main dancer, lead rapper, sub vocalist) was dark blue. there is purple, which is Aroha and was therefore served to the girl at the store. Now all colors make a rainbow. a rainbow has been a consistent concept with astro. all of their M/Vs have at least one rainbow in them. Also it said Dream Pt 1, Pt 2 was crazy sexy cool which you've already reacted to. and in the baby dance practice, they were playing rock paper scissors to decide which member's little figurine (i think that's what it's called) get to be displayed in the middle. In the Again dance practice, there was no M/V coz it was a song from their special album, an album dedicated to Arohas saying how grateful they are to us. And yes, Rocky has been doing ballet since he was young so he has quite a lot of ballet background. MoonBin also has some ballet background. I know you’ve already reacted to Astro’s relay dances, but their dance practices (bonus if you can also watch their special dance practice versions!) for All Night and Blue Flame are really worth a look just for the floor choreography for All Night and the neck snap (not a dancer but that’s what I call it lol) for Blue Flame. For your next Astro reactions, I think you would really enjoy All Night. They do a ton of floorwork (it's more contemporary in style) and the MV is stunning! Blue Flame is another one that has a super satisfying choreo and a gorgeous MV. Just make sure you watch the dance practice with all 6 of them not the special dance practice which has 5 of them.

I always have to comment on ASTRO reactions, they have so much talent and I always feel the need to praise them. Sometimes it seems like some of their dances aren't hard, but they have many jumps and turns that it makes me tired just watching it 😭. Thank you so much for reacting to Astro! They are such good dancers. My favorite color is blue and in Baby, Rocky was assigned to the pretty dark blue. He probably has the most classical training of all of them - tap, ballet, jazz, modern - but Bin also has some contemporary and a little ballet training as well (Bin was Red in Baby; he and Rocky did the pirouettes in Again). Pretty much any Astro dance practice is epic. Hide & Seek has some really cool formations in the choreo, and it's their debut song, so that will show you how their dance has evolved over time. (I think Again has English subtitles, but you have to pick English specifically on the settings? At the beginning the boys were trying to decide whose cardboard standee would serve as the center marker during their dance practice; Rocky won, but Sanha put his in the back as the rear center marker.) (Aroha is still sad that Again never got the MV it deserved.) Blue Flame also has some really cool choreo, but Bin wasn't in promotions for that comeback, so make sure to get the 6-member dance practice for it.

Hi Chris, let me tell you a little about Astro... is the leader of the group and takes care of all the members. He is an excellent rapper and dancer. He writes songs and records them. is the best dancer, choreographer there is. He learned ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop; is a black belt in karate. He also write songs and produces them. He is one of the rappers (together with JinJin) and a great singer. is the vocalist or singer with the high notes all the way to heaven and is called the happy virus for his great sense of humor. He is also the oldest member of the group. is the visual of the group. The pretty face with nice vocals and plays the piano. is the main vocals and great dancer (also taken ballet). Rocky and Moonbin trained together for over 7 years. I call MoonBin the sexy image of Astro. Knows how to look, be and move in a very sexy way. Then there is SanHa the baby ("maknae" in corean). He is the tallest member of the group. Is a great dancer and singer and plays the guitar. All the members take care and watch over him. For what you see in their everyday videos, the do love each other and have a great relation. This group is great in looks, vocals, choreographies and are all well put together to go far. I personally wish them the BEST!!!

Rocky is a contemporary dancer. JinJin did street and is also a rapper. Mj is the main vocalist and he has also been doing live musical theater lately. Sanha is kind of a Jack of all trades. Moonbin is also a pretty insane dancer and and is known for his unique voice. And finally, Eunwoo is also known as peak male visuals and is an actor. I’m biased between Mj and a Rocky but I think it’s a Rocky now 😂😂
JinJin also does some more HipHop style music solo like Mad Max and Like a King which features Myundo and Superbee (they’re 2 Korean hiphop artists. They’ve been on SMTM loads of times)

I normally bias the deeper voices, but after seeing Rocky on Hit the Stage, he became my bias. The amazing main dancer and either his color is purple or navy? He's in the boxer style room

Another amazing aspect of Astro is that they have a pretty huge height gap from the shortest to the tallest member, but you really don't notice it in their dancing... they are work together so well.

So, in the Baby M/V, MoonBin (lead vocal, main dancer) was red (you said you liked him), JinJin (main rapper, leader) was green, Cha Eunwoo (vocal, visual) was blue, Sanha (lead vocal, maknae) was yellow, MJ (main vocal, oldest) was orange, Rocky (main dancer, lead rapper, sub vocalist) was dark blue. there is purple, which is Aroha and was therefore served to the girl at the store. Now all colors make a rainbow. a rainbow has been a consistent concept with astro. all of their M/Vs have at least one rainbow in them. Also it said Dream Pt 1, Pt 2 was crazy sexy cool which you've already reacted to. and in the baby dance practice, they were playing rock paper scissors to decide which member's little figurine (i think that's what it's called) get to be displayed in the middle. In the Again dance practice, there was no M/V coz it was a song from their special album, an album dedicated to Arohas saying how grateful they are to us. And yes, Rocky has been doing ballet since he was young so he has quite a lot of ballet background. MoonBin also has some ballet background. Last, but not least, there are 3 actors in ASTRO: Cha Eunwoo (blue), MoonBin (red) and Sanha (yellow). although, all 6 of them has actually acted before in a pre-debut drama. i hope this answers your questions. hoping to see more reactions from you, esp All Night M/V and dance practice coz it's just so beautiful. 💜 💜

10:34 y 19:27 The one in the middle is Rocky. Rocky was suppose to be Billy in Billie Elliot the musical in Korea, but he didn’t get to debut because Fantagio recruited him to be a trainee. So he can do ballet, tap, jazz, etc. A choreographer in the kpop industry call him the best dancer among the idols. Also Rocky make some of astro choreos. he’s so talented and the best dancer

I know you’ve already reacted to Astro’s relay dances, but their dance practices (bonus if you can also watch their special dance practice versions!) for All Night and Blue Flame are really worth a look just for the floor choreography for All Night and the neck snap (not a dancer but that’s what I call it lol) for Blue Flame. Breathless and Hide and Seek are what I would call their Uber cardio songs hahaha they do so much jumping and transitions it’s crazy hahaha

I don't know if anyone answered your question yet but they were playing paper rock scissors to see whos figurine get to be the center mark for their placements lmao i didn't know that either until i saw another dancer reacting to it and he pointed it out haha and the drinks in the music video is NOT sponsored or an ad it was just drinks to represent every member and their color. For your next Astro reactions, I think you would really enjoy All Night. They do a ton of floorwork (it's more contemporary in style) and the MV is stunning! Blue Flame is another one that has a super satisfying choreo and a gorgeous MV. Just make sure you watch the dance practice with all 6 of them not the special dance practice which has 5 of them.

I always have to comment on ASTRO reactions, they have so much talent and I always feel the need to praise them. Sometimes it seems like some of their dances aren't hard, but they have many jumps and turns that it makes me tired just watching it 😭. Anyways I hope you react to the Blue Flame MV and dance practice because I love the dance so much for that song

I'm Rocky biased 💜, he's an amazing dancer, rapper, choreographer, singer, lyricist etc.. Though I have a bias, I still love them all, such talented young men! Plus I have to add that 3 of them are around 180cm (6ft?) tall or over and the rest a little shorter, and you can't really tell that when you watch them dance 💜😊..And their synchronization is insane 🥰💜!

I love your astro reactions! they are an amazing group, each member adds so much to the mix and they always bring something new while showing a great sense of friendship which I love ^^~ been a fan for 5 years, 2 tattoos, 1 fansign, 3 concerts later and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon lol
about their acting, yes! eunwoo is a huge actor in south korea! moonbin and sanha often get acting gigs as well ^^ they all trained in acting as fantagio (their company) is a big acting agency, they even had a predebut drama called to be continued which featured the whole group and a few other fantagio trainees and actors.
the colors in baby represent their personalities! moonbin is red because he has a strong personality and he's a statement himself lol if you try to understand the color x personality thing you can understand the members a bit more!
the end of the mv said 'dream pt 1' cause they released two mini albums, dream pt 1 and dream pt 2 (the one with crazy sexy cool).

Thank you so much for reacting to Astro! They are such good dancers. My favorite color is blue and in Baby, Rocky was assigned to the pretty dark blue. He probably has the most classical training of all of them - tap, ballet, jazz, modern - but Bin also has some contemporary and a little ballet training as well (Bin was Red in Baby; he and Rocky did the pirouettes in Again). Pretty much any Astro dance practice is epic. Hide & Seek has some really cool formations in the choreo, and it's their debut song, so that will show you how their dance has evolved over time. (I think Again has English subtitles, but you have to pick English specifically on the settings? At the beginning the boys were trying to decide whose cardboard standee would serve as the center marker during their dance practice; Rocky won, but Sanha put his in the back as the rear center marker.) (Aroha is still sad that Again never got the MV it deserved.) Blue Flame also has some really cool choreo, but Bin wasn't in promotions for that comeback, so make sure to get the 6-member dance practice for it.

Hi Chris, let me tell you a little about Astro... is the leader of the group and takes care of all the members. He is an excellent rapper and dancer. He writes songs and records them. is the best dancer, choreographer there is. He learned ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop; is a black belt in karate. He also write songs and produces them. He is one of the rappers (together with JinJin) and a great singer. is the vocalist or singer with the high notes all the way to heaven and is called the happy virus for his great sense of humor. He is also the oldest member of the group. is the visual of the group. The pretty face with nice vocals and plays the piano. is the main vocals and great dancer (also taken ballet). Rocky and Moonbin trained together for over 7 years. I call MoonBin the sexy image of Astro. Knows how to look, be and move in a very sexy way. Then there is SanHa the baby ("maknae" in corean). He is the tallest member of the group. Is a great dancer and singer and plays the guitar. All the members take care and watch over him. For what you see in their everyday videos, the do love each other and have a great relation. This group is great in looks, vocals, choreographies and are all well put together to go far. I personally wish them the BEST!!!

Rocky is a contemporary dancer. JinJin did street and is also a rapper. Mj is the main vocalist and he has also been doing live musical theater lately. Sanha is kind of a Jack of all trades. Moonbin is also a pretty insane dancer and and is known for his unique voice. And finally, Eunwoo is also known as peak male visuals and is an actor. I’m biased between Mj and a Rocky but I think it’s a Rocky now 😂😂
JinJin also does some more HipHop style music solo like Mad Max and Like a King which features Myundo and Superbee (they’re 2 Korean hiphop artists. They’ve been on SMTM loads of times)
Rocky is a trained ballet dancer. Rocky, Moonbin & jinjin are dancers of the group. Other 3 learn via choreography. Other 3 are Jinjin, Cha Eunwoo (famous actor as well) & Sanha

Yes, they have acting experience! They all have a web series together. They have a reality show as well, ASTRO ZONE. Cha Eun-woo and Moonbin have been in kdramas and I believe Yoon Sanha is supposed to be in an upcoming kdrama?

He is a perfectionist one so the details in the dance are perfectly executed. You can also check their Moonwalk and With You dance practice in ASTRO DOCCA. They showed how Rocky polished their dance for that two songs. 😊

In the red room, it was moonbin, they all aspire or be actors but there are three current actors in the group. Rocky the second youngest, he has been rated as ione of the top 2 idol dancers in Korea.

In baby's dance practice, they were challenging on who's status will be in the front, Rocky wins. And in again, can you see how smooth and light they are while dancing? You can hear their shoes' slides but not their jumps. Omg. I love them addictionnally
