With Broome out, Chaney shut down their big man from that point forward. He has really stepped up in the two games Broome had to leave early.
He seems to play better when Broome is out
This could be a blessing in disguise. It will force everyone, especially Cardwell to step up which I thnk he will. It may cost Auburn a game or two, but by tournament time, the Tigers could be even more of a beast. Still, I hate it for Joni and hope he will have a rapid recovery.

Broome is great but he has difficulty with those big quick 4s I’d try to keep him guarding centers if you can.When Auburn gets lead should probably do some zone to protect Caldwell or take him out.
Not a bad idea
CMB is the most skilled big man we will play all season. They were a bad matchup for us and just glad we snuck away. Horrible officiating again, home cooking all night for CMB and Pringle. Toughed it out and found a way still.
Frankly, I hope they keep us at 2 and give us added motivation, not like this team needs it, but it keeps Bruce pounding his message of disrespect towards our program. War Eagle!

I would be surprised if Duke jumped Auburn. If who you lost to matters, they loss to Kentucky and Kansas and have a worse W/L record than us. We have been #1 to everyone on earth except those AP voters for weeks. TN loses, and now who you lost to suddenly matters. Of course they would do that to us. Lol. Being #1 in AP would be cool, but as Bruce stated in his post game, "I'd rather be #1 at the end of the year". But this is history so we'll take it.
