i will never not feel bad for japan though, they really have the short end of the stick here, with little land (reduced even more by the nuclear explosions) and few resources they didn't have many options after we forced them into trade other than invade others, they were forced to adapt quickly to the newer tech the world had and under unfair trade, japans actions are in this fairly reasonable, if the allies wanted a show of force, i wished they'd nuked a part of Russia, which has many areas sparely inhabited that could've still gotten the point across
I'd feel bad for Japan if they weren't the ones responsible for you know, killing over 6 million people in horrific acts of violence all across East Asia.
How is that realistically logical? America and Russia were somewhat like allies. They didn't see going to war with each other needed, a bombing of Russia would have made tensions worse. I do however feel bad to some degree for the Japanese. Another reason they went to war with America was cause of their racial propaganda. America had a lot of media on Japan, a lot calling them rats and generally insulting their race as a whole. (that a concentration camps during ww2 were set up against the japanese)
I could see why Japan wanted to expand and fight America. Japan was extremely stronger then anyone thought they were. They'd simply made a mistake of letting Pearl Harbor start working again so quickly.
Plus, the nuking was an easy victory for the US. I couldn't see nuking Russia as a good military strategy, w/ Stalin, it'd probably just make relations worse

That'd be the most awful idea I've ever heard of.
Dropping a nuke on the USSR would almost definitely would start another war between the USSR and USA. You also need to consider that the USSR might do the same thing when they start developing nuclear weapons aswell.
Besides, Japan wouldn't have surrendered anyway. A land invasion would've costed more lives. Even after the war some Japanese forces still didn't surrender. It just wouldn't work.
The nukes were a necessary evil that hopefully will never be used again.
Be honest I really love this but I didn't like how they fade in and out and how I really wish we saw all the countries reactions to the nuclear of Japan

My country Poland… I’ll never forgive what other countries did. We got attacked from two sides-Russia and Germany at once. We also got betrayed by the allies, they didn’t help us when we got attacked. The fact that after all we still helped other countries and helped at the Monte Cassino fight. I dont think Poland deserves this… and people still make fun of this and dont care what happened.. We used to be a safe country and we tolerated anybody for who they are, but… now Poland is the most homophobic and Transphobic country in Europe..We need help because LGBTQ+ people are in danger and even some get arrested and some even killed. For now i can live but if youre a foreign traveler in Poland it might be not the best decision…We also disappeared from the map for 123 years and we sill are here! Even though their Infantry and Air Forces were at their strongest, the country had many problems in its main cities. Food was Scarce, Poverty was stricken, and the Economy Ministry was resort to needs for the Japanese Army and IJN.

In WW1 In the battle for Passchendaele we lost a lot of people I don't exactly know but on the allies thought it was 500,600 hundred thousand on the latest axis what ever you want to call them but we were so brutal and so efficient we got a name called Stormtroopers in the night we were notoriously known for going over to the trenches cutting the wires with any weapon we could we kill the Germans meat cleavers hatchet Anything would and it did not matter if you were hurting injured or if you were a man standing on your feet with a rifle it didn't matter they would cut them down once solider said "today we took a trench when we got over there the Germans had the audacity ask for come Kamerad"I think that's how it spelled it means I surrender or whatever I can't remember but he proceeded to say"The only Kamerad they get was a cold foot for steel as I blew their brains out with my rifle" we took no prisoners and we were highly efficient in both wars I take pride in this but at the same time I don't know if I should but I'm glad that there's Vi Geneva convention from stopping anybody or should be stopping anybody from doing these kind of things again because it was terrible
