"trying to paint pictures with my words", and she acomplishes that so powerfully! Each song she sings,if you listen to it with your eyes closed, you get overwhelmed by pictures and stories ,your imagination goes beyond vivid and wild! Lana does that!
And this is how i've enjoyed Lana's music for awhile now. Through listening to every word and just letting it take me away as the world builds. From moment to moment. She a great, poetic story teller.
I remember watching a interview where she talks about the story of how the song Born To Die came to be. She said she was obsessed with her own mortality and knowing that one day she was going to die. Which is something I can really relate with. Honestly I think every single one of us can relate with that
That, and she goes beyond just the dying part. She also wonders about eternity essentially. Hence Born To Die and then Paradise.

I love both warm and cold weather as I love spring and autumn. As long as they aren't in extremities. I believe this earthly life is a preview of heaven and hell. And if we just shove aside other people for a moment and look at it, we would realize how much we are all gifted, and only a few see the true treasure the earth holds for us. I believe heaven is more like earth sans its foul people and foul weather. And heaven comes with other goodies too, which I think lana is aware of. And lana/lizzy knows she is my sweet precious darling.
