I use a dot of red nail polish as thread lock in the scissors screw. It's very handy stuff for electronics work, marking positive wires, terminals and lithium batteries 👍
It is a shame they've gotten rid of the 74mm. It's a nice size when you want a bit more than a Classic SD, but still want something for the keys. Thanks, Slippy. ⚽
I don’t particularly love the toolset on this, but the size is just so perfect for a true _pocket_ knife. I feel the 91mm knives are a little too big to be jostling around in my pocket (and I’m not a big fan of the third party pocket clips), and the 58mm knives are just bit too small. I’d love a knife in this size with the toolset of the Rambler, and maybe with the orange peeler as well?
Just found a new old stock Exec in black at my local indy hardware store. Sometimes the mom and pop stores hold on to things a little longer than the internet. Good luck everyone
I thought about one of these for my keyring, but went with a classic instead. With hindsight, I wish I'd picked up one of these as well for the collection.
@Ernie-on2vf Thanks for pointing out the size of the classic, but I already knew how big / small they are lol. No, I don't only collect Victorinox knives. I also collect other traditional slip joints as well as more modern ones ( although the traditional ones make up most of my collection ). I don't really collect locking knives ( I only have four of the things. All of which I bought for use in the woods or were used for work purposes ). I also collect fixed blade knives, although I don't own as many of those as I do slip joints.
Such a cool like SAK and one I don't think I've ever seen before, so thanks for sharing about it. 👍Too bad it's discontinued though. 😕Anyway, take care and Cheers!
I have a victorinox executive... But it's very premium. It has a full metal handle, a golden stamp on it with a small diamond. Got it for 7 dollars from a box of knives and the guy knew nothing about it. The gold stamp says... Really enjoyed your review. The Executive is my favorite SAK; I carry one every day.
Thanks for watching!

It really is! It's a perfect size for an office knife or if you wanted a larger key chain knife! Thanks for watching John! 🙏🏼
I picked up an old Executive at an antique store a few years ago for $8. It has a bail and the pealer is not serrated. Very unique find.
What a bargain of a find 🔥
That is a great looking SAK, such a shame they discontinued the 74mm size.
Thanks Stu
That is a great find! Beauty of a knife. Thanks for showing Slippy. Have a very nice rest of your evening over there! Cheers, RW
Thanks RW have a great week!
I love my Black Executive SAK, plus the scissors are a perfect size in my opinion. Glad you found one Sawyer. 👍
It's a great size for sure!
Couldn’t agree with you more. Love the Executive, is the SAK that I use most from my collection. A close second is the Compact.
Well said!
Got to agree, wish they’d kept the 74mm.
🤞🏻hopefully we’ll see a return at some point.
Great review Matt,
Thank you 😎🙏🏻
You and me both!
That's a pretty neat one. I've never handle one so can't says if I like it, but looks nice. Thanks for sharing Matt! Hope you are doing well!
Thanks, you too Randy!

Now that would be cool! I'll check and see if ones been made ever 🙏🏼
Great tool set on that one! I like that design!!
I love it!
never seen it before. looks very nice as an more useable big bro to the 58. :)
I love it
That orange peeler is a cool little tool.
Good stuff as always, Slippy👊🏻

Thanks Tim!

You’re welcome!
To prevent the scissors screw from unscrewing one may use ladies nail polish

I was lucky to find one in such great condition! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Ooh I’ll be on the lookout for one of those ❤👍
Some on Etsy, sakukshop
Is £50 good for a brand new one with the leather case?
That's a pretty good price with the sheath, yeah 🤘🏻
Such a cool like SAK and one I don't think I've ever seen before, so thanks for sharing about it. 👍Too bad it's discontinued though. 😕Anyway, take care and Cheers!
Thanks for watching Dave 🙏🏼
Haven't seen this one. Still, we're spoilt for choice anyway.

Now that's cool!
Does anyone know where I can get one?
Etsy is your best bet
From a selfish point of view, its not a bad thing if they discontinue this model as I already have a couple and now they will become more collectable!
Definitely way more collectable now!
✨ I have black one ✨ 👶👏❤️
Awesome
