Watching Alesso and Avicii Tomorrowland sets on TH-cam since 2012 and it was this year 2022 I made it to the holy grounds. It was a long journey and watching playing Alesso live was emotional and dream come true moment. Thank you Tomorrowland for the amazing mainstage. Imagine Avicii playing here💔💔

If it was Avicii he would be using all 4 decks. All I saw was 1 active deck playing the entire time meaning the music was pre made. It seems this year more and more are doing this “lip sync” style performances 😢 I mean there will be no mistakes and the DJ can enjoy as much as the crowd without worrying about the music but there is no skill on show sadly.
@@A2KLAU All the music is pre recorded of course, but the actual mixing is done live
@@statetrooperast1044 not that I could see. The only “active” deck I saw in the whole video was deck 2 and that was by chance. The camera deliberately kept clear of showing too much of it because it wasn’t mixed live just playing a pre made mix. Same with Martin Garrix set. If you watch Alan Walkers set both deck 2 and 3 alternate being active and inactive and he uses the volume faders to transition between decks, so he mixed live.
@@A2KLAU All mainstage sets are pre recorded. It is impossible to put up such a show with such perfectly timed fireworks live while the whole world is watching.. Tomorrowland is more than a festival, there is no doubt that all these dj’s can mix there music live. It is about telling the story they want to tell and the feeling of Unity they want to bring to people every year. And I think that is more important than Dj’s mixing live.. 🤍

This was an amazing set. You do really good in your sets. It's really cool because you mix some of your old songs with new ones. Great set. I'm absolutely blown away by that Interstellar remix. This is exactly what Tomorrowland is all about. I can tell this truly meant something to you. You put in a lot more than hard work and time. This was beyond what I imagined!
Interstellar is my fav movie and I couldn’t believe when I heard him play it!

This is my favorite set of Alesso. The non-stop vibe mixing and smooth transitions. Nice choices of tracks and mash-up. Lastly, this is one of the most emotional sets I ever watched from him. 👍

Another beautiful set! I’ve enjoyed so much of Alesso’s newer music but I feel like I never quite “understood” them the way they were intended until now. This set really brought them to life and told a beautiful story.

Cara, o Alesso nunca foi meu favorito, sempre foi muito relevante dentro da edm mas arrisco dizer que ele ta no AUGE. Esse set é simplemente o melhor do tomorrowland 2022 que eu vi, absurdo. Alesso merece muito top 10 esse ano, quem sabe até top 5

Não acho q ele esta no auge, o auge dele ja veio a uma tempo e ja passou, la em 2016 por ai foi mais ou menos o auge, que durou até 2018, depois disso ele caiu bastante, ainda é bastante relevante, mas em relação a essa época, ele caiu bastante
Sempre gostei dele há anos os set´s e as músicas são ótimas. Esse set foi um dos melhores desse ano mesmo. O Alesso vem melhorando, mas ainda está longe dos principais dj no ranking.
Ao meu ver, como um fã de longa data, o auge do Alesso foi de 2011 à 2014, posteriormente lançando o álbum "Forever" em 2015. É difícil analisar o "auge" de alguém, mas eu vou julgar esse período como seu auge porque foi justamente nesse intervalo de tempo que os seus remixes e músicas próprias mais famosas e memoráveis foram lançadas.
Depois desse período, sinto que houve um certo hiato, experimentou sons novos, e a 'poeira' foi baixando. Mas percebo que desde 2019 o Alesso voltou com força ao progressive house mesmo, e dá pra sentir isso nos sets. O período experimental dele deixou isso um pouco de lado, um fato que eu lamentei.
Especificamente do ano passado pra cá, sensação é de que ele está MUITO forte. Alguns hits mais focados na cena pop, mas os hinos de house music também aparecem, sejam como single, seja como um "vip mix", por exemplo. Ou seja, cenário parecido com o do seu auge, que descrevi antes. Eu continuo gostando demais dele, e tudo que vem lançando recentemente (fora as IDs aqui e em alguns outros sets recentes) eu realmente tô curtindo, tanto que em 2021 e provavelmente esse ano ele será meu top #1 no spotify, por exemplo.
E eu quase ia esquecendo, mas: Ranking da DJMAG nunca, jamais, serviu pra dizer que foi o "melhor", e sim, é um ranking de popularidade.

After three years of being waiting for tomorrowland and traveling for Europe , i was so excited and sentimental that night because I thought I wasn’t been able to go back to the holy grounds ,and then a guy told me “ hey what’s up you are at tomorrowland SMILE” , I smiled but i was confused I couldn’t believe I had gone back to my favorite place and I was watching alesso and the other djs again . Thanks for that magic vibes alesso 😍
