I was looking at the notes while you were describing it and you got it spot on (as always)! 😊 I love peach in fragrance if done well so I will definitely have to try this one. It's so interesting how Linda and Nick scented the same city in their own unique ways. I think I might have to visit Bukhara someday. Loved the review!
I feel like I’ve become very sensitive to some kind of chemical I smell in most perfume samples I get these days - when I first started to smell different scents, think I really liked it - but now it is all I can smell if it’s in a perfume - which bums me out bc I might love all the other notes, but I’m overwhelmed by the one chemical -- thanks for the review
@@vwiccy exactly the same thing happened to me, I disliked most of what I sampled for a long time right after becoming sensitised (and the Ormonde Jayne sample set made me suddenly very aware of it!). It made me turn towards a few natural houses and vintages. Guerlains from 3-4 years ago or prior, F Bianchi, Papillon, Dusita. Belle Ame is my last favourite, I’d love to see more like that from Eugene and A Lie 🙏. I also like many Goutals and lately quite a few Chanels. I think over time and with less exposure, I’m not so sensitive anymore and can appreciate more stuff, if I can still notice the aromachemicals. What houses can you tolerate?
I was looking forward to sharing into the hype for Ormonde Jayne years ago and ordered samples, but to me most of them smelt of big aromachemicals 🤷♀️ The experience was unpleasant so I’ve not been keen to retry. Geza Shoen freaking loves his molecules!

Thanks Jim! I’d love to visit Bukhara it looks stunning!
Thanks Claire! 💙
Cheers Don!
Just ordered a decant of this a couple of days ago. Looking forward to trying it! ❤
Let me know what you think 🌺

Yes quite a molecular brand but I still love a few, Levant being my favourite as it’s more musk molecules than woody ambers.
@@Smurfygurly I’ll give it a sniff then next time I’m by an OJ counter :)
I like Levant but the others are too molecular for me. Doesn’t mean it’s not well done for others. Something for everyone in fragrance., right? 😊
