A question or rather a worry on the wing quicklocks. If indeed you undo every session a few times per week to load in your Corolla. Can we expect looseness over time ???
Absolutely, I would love to fly with you sometime that would be great, I’m not to far from you. I’m in Jacksonville NC , the Marine Corps brought me here 26 years ago lol ,Do you think Eflite will bring out a new version F-16, trying to compete with freewing and FMS??
No idea if they will or not, that would be neat to see though. Maybe we'll see an F-16XL since it won the poll the E-flite team posted on Facebook a while ago!
For the Freewing 90mm, I would need to use the AR10360T to emulate your setup along with using airbrakes, a nose wheel steering gyro and afterburner, correct? That’s 10 channels per my math. The best RC channel on TH-cam!
The afterburner can be tied into the throttle lead, but a 10 channel is necessary on the 90 if you want the steering gyro. It's helpful but not necessary here: bit.ly/AR10360TPlus
V1 and V2 are functionally identical, and we recommend bypassing the stock gyro system and using the setup demoed here: th-cam.com/video/q6kLtf_qLJs/w-d-xo.html Hop on Discord via discord.gg/twobrosrc if you need help!
😂“An opinionated 🫏 “! 😂 Jon as someone who recently started flying both planes I love your videos & setups hands down! Can’t wait to upgrade my servos. If freewing via motionrc keep releasing these planes that are easy to breakdown, resist hangar rash around key areas and fly this good with ample space for a rearward CG, I will happily purchase every fighter jet that they re-release in this size! You and them are killing the game right now! Thanks again! Can’t wait to rock your gear!
You're gonna love it! Just make sure you set it up like ours if you're looking to get the same level of performance. Otherwise it's gonna be a bit nose heavy.
@@TwoBrosRC will do, thanks! BTW this is how it goes: MotionRC get new stock of F-16 -> Jon releases a new F-16 review -> MotionRC F-16 is going out of stock again! Haha, this is what your impact does 💪🏻😉
"If your not trying to figure out how fast a plane can go with GPS for whatever reason"?? ALOTTT of people do this, Lol I do this with every single plane I get especially Jets just a cool thing to know is how fast anything is that's the reason. Cool video though good review I had the 80mm E-flite and loved it had quite a few issues with 2 different ones but when I finally got a good one I loved it haven't flown the new Freewing 90mm F16 yet 1 day!!
Kind of off the wall question. Which handles easier, if you are able to advise, between this beautiful E-flite F-16 80mm and the Freewing F-4 Phantom II 90mm?
Regarding the 80mm thrust tube you used. Was it the 68mm or the 71mm version. Both are available via the link you provided. Great video as always Jon!! Edit: Just did my homework and now understand FSA just a little bit. I assume you went with the 68mm as it's 80% FSA of the 80mm fan. Yes?
Either one will work. 100% FSA will get you more thrust than stock and longer flight times. The reduced FSA will shorten flight times and improve thrust.
Awesome! just today morning I was wondering how the comparison of this two would be. It would have been nice to know how the FMS version does at least in the price comparison -- if the two 80mm version are similar or the same... Thanks for this vid!!
@@TwoBrosRC OK! I was just wondering :) Thank you! In germany neither, just directly. I‘ve done a good contact to FMS if you need something :) It’s around 30-40% cheaper than here in GER…
Not really sure what's up with eflite lately but they take forever to bring something actually new in the edf platform. It's either highwing releases or a same old edf with new colors and re-reverse thrust .. Freewing is really getting better with new releases and better quality Very very disappointed with Highwing Hobby lately..
Both were beautifully flown. I'm wondering if you add pylons to the F-16. Change the center of gravity where its tail is heavy and bring it forward. If that might change the overall 🤔🕊️🇺🇸🕊️👊😎

However, since you brought up that joke of a channel, I'll be happy to give my $0.02 on it! I AM a speed guy and still get 10x times the info from this channel than I do from RCPlaneReviewer. Awesome review video Jon! Loved this side by side, and super jello of the Freewing 90 ;)
Great comparison of the F-16's Jon. They both fly like a falcon hunting, simply in different ways.
Edit: simply may not be the best word...
Also not to mention the freewing is easier to transport since it has quick locks on the wings.
