Steve Harvey said when you're going through a hard time that God has you in a "process" and it's for a "change" and that He's not done with you yet. " Pretty powerful, I thought. Stoicism teaches courage, honesty, kindness and hard work. These 2 men are the antithesis of the great Stoic philosophers. I’d have more respect for either of them if they were brave enough to admit their mistakes. But they aren’t. Both these men are self interested cowards.
I'd like to see Chris do an in depth interview with someone who isn't a liberal activist, like he is. Sure you are going to learn a few things about the other person in these types of get togethers, but at the same time, it's really about strengthening alliances, and both are trying not to cross one another. I felt the same when he was on CNN, the guests were imo, always screened to either be on Chris's side, or else it would be a conservative with very low debating skills, usually unable to match Chris's smash and grab tactics which he perfected as a lawyer. Just my two cents, but I think Chris could be capable of more.
Yes, I got into it, too. Not everyone can pull it off, though. I saw another side of Chris' abilities as an interviewer - I think he has some impressive skills there - and I think the two of them had a good on-camera rapour.

What a privileged hypocrite! Thinks he’s above the law. Based on a hierarchical system of privilege! If this was a nobody actor they would be criminally charged, PERIOD. Baldwin, you’re criminally negligent in this! And a prosecutor shouldn’t be deciding whether to charge you, that is not their duty or job, their job is to prosecute and allow due process to play out by having a jury to decide your guilt or innocence in the case! Not charging him is negligent to the rule of law and gives public mistrust to the rule of law when its unequally being applied!! Not charging Baldwin is hierarchically applying the law and only giving due process to its nonstar power citizens. If it wasn’t Alec Baldwin he would have already been charged!

Hi Tony… I don’t have time to explain it all but there are some excellent Law sites online that you can look things up on to find your own answers. You might start with innocent until proven guilty, which doesn’t always keep people out of jail to be sure, but considering the police are still investigating, and haven’t turned in a report, there’s no one to arrest. There may have been negligence, but it might not have been criminal negligence, and it might not be Baldwin’s negligence. The media jumps to conclusions, the police investigate and find facts.
