I am so thrilled to find this video! Being a Keith Urban fan for decades now, I have been introduced to many different things. Not the least of which is Foy Vance. I heard Keith's performance of "Burden" on an award show and was rocked to my core by it. Then I watched the video from a show on TH-cam, Vinyl supper And listened to these two talk. It was like a chat I was able to listen in on that was just two guys discussing random ideas and interests with eachother. Deep wells is a great way to describe them both.
Now, to hear Keith Urban and Foy Vance together playing this song is such a great joy 😊 for me!♡☆
As of this week (11/11/23), they have recorded a collaborative with Ed Shaaron and Elton John. The song is one Foy recorded years ago. It is a true masterpiece ✨️ that is soul stirring! ~♡~. IT'S A MUST LISTEN 🎶. "Guiding Light" is the song. Please find the song and I believe you'll be moved beyond what you might anticipate.

I didn't know until today that Keith covered this or that this video happened. I've seen Foy in Belfast a few times and he's tremendous live. I was also in Nashville last year and im a big fan of Keith as well. I love that they've collaborated on this, this song means so much to me as I lost my brother 2 years ago to alcohol. Brought me to tears (in a good way). Thanks guys, it's beautiful.
Seeing the title at first I felt an overwhelming sadness & in a place in time i don't want to be. I never wanted to be a burden to anyone. But I just had to listen because I like your music. So, I pushed on & I gave it a listen to the very end. It sure is nice when the right person is there to pick you up when you don't know which direction to go or where to feel safe enough to let your guard down & or to ever trust anyone anymore. (wow ! Can't believe I wrote this but , it it's true)! Thank you for sharing.

Foy Vance is FANTASTIC!! I like Keith Urban a lot and he has some amazing songs. However, when Foy sings this song I feel it. It seems to me that Keith is just singing it. Foy is singing it AND feeling it.
Thank you so very much for this! Keith, for many, many reasons, you have always been a favorite, those string bends being one, and I love your delivery of this song. But for some reason when I heard Foy sing it I thought, "Oh. OK. I get it." I heard Fly and the song immediately became an old friend. That said, you are one of very, very few that could cover this and treat it right. I don't even think Foy's buddy Ed could do it with this one. So, again, thank you for performing it together. Tis a thing of beauty.
