A man who is authentic and shows his true emotion and realness on the court. I feel I relate and warm to Djokovic more, someone who came from humble beginnings and has battled adversity to become the champion he is. For me Novak is a man of the people, what you see is what you get. There is no fake media persona. It may not have been his day today, but he will bounce back and show once again why he is a champion and legend of the sport. I know who my GOAT is.

For every disheartened Djoko fan, there's a happy Meddy one: so it is and has to be. We Djoko fans, instead of dwelling on this loss, need to honor Novak and thank him for all the great moments he's given us, some of the greatest moments ever witnessed on a tennis court. To me, his decency as a human being is beyond question. I think that only fools would disagree with that. To Novak: I think you're as great in defeat as you are in victory. Novak rarely loses, and slam level losses for Novak are even more rare. But when he does lose, he always has nice words for the opponent and always loses with grace.
A true champion even when he doesnt win. What a season he had in 2021. All 4 slam finals. Won 3 of them, one from 2 sets down. Beat Rafa at FO. Incredible.

Great athlete and a true competitor. Makes sense what he says about the tired legs.
The difference between an attack shot and rally shot is huge.
If you are tired and your attack shot looks more like a rally shot, your opponent will eat it up and ask for more... He will be back.
