Casey and Dan, is there a K through 12 schools for children with disabilities in Kansas ? Here in New York, I was lucky to attend the Henry Viscardi school in Albertson Long Island. This is a school, that caters to children with every manner of disability; and offers a wide range of on campus services. Some of the services include: OT, PT, speech, vision aquatic, independent living and job training and placement. On the 14 acre campus there is also the viscardi center, which helps to provide adaptive technologies and equipment recommendations; for children and adolescents and adults I’m looking to live and work in their own communities The school‘s founder, Dr. Henry Viscardi Junior, was a double amputee from birth and grew up to serve on the disability councils of Eight president. These dayspresidents range from beach LBJ up to president Clinton. He also had a hand in writing such legislative works like IDEA, 504 and the ADA.
Yeah I know how it is my brother has CP in here recently when we go go places you see a bunch of cars that don't even have packers in the handicap and it pisses me off because there's a bunch of people using it that don't have any Handicap sticker
Did not see any positional equipment in those rooms. Also, do you know if they use lifts to get the children out and into their wheelchairs? Might be a good idea to protect those rods in her spine. I just love your family. Hudsyn cracks me up with her smile, so cute!

I know messaged you before!..my daughter passed away in Sept!…but I have to tell you!..your great parents!…she’s so lucky to have you both!…but!!…here it comes!..you are going to burn out soon!…she looks always like she doesn’t care about anything your doing!…swimming!..ect!..because she wants to be just left alone from everyone!…8 read that in her!..not interested!..always tired or sleeping!..let her be!..I told you the system will just expect you to do everything!…it’s all about their jobs and how they make money!…it took me years to figure it out!..I though5 they all cared about my daughter..but it turns out they all disappeared even at her death!..they just move on!…I know it’s my story!..I’m going to the media here in Canada about it all!..I know my opinion means nothing…but it’s true!..she just wants to be at home comfortably numb!!…when you get to my age…you look back at all the people that just cared about their jobs!..but you are doing a great job!..don’t worry about the parking shit!…she could die at anytime and no more parking issues!…and you will be lost like me!…god bless yas!!..and feed her canned food!..so much easier!..so much work for no reason!…it will not make any difference!❤️😘

They do actually. Inclusion is important not just for students with disabilities but students who are in general ed classes. I work in a medically fragile class
