I don't know why speaking in Hindi is looked down upon. I have seen many Indians ( especially these bollywood people ) who just feel very proud that they know English better than Hindi. AND not to forget these people and their kids work in * Hindi Cinema * . Our country is so diverse and so many languages are spoken here and we all should be proud of it. I agree that since we cannot learn all the Indian languages and thus communicate in English but all other languages deserve equal treatment and respect.
Speaking in Hindi or any other language fluently should not be seen as an achievement.
Slavery mentality! Urdu and English were language of our masters. And slaves very well like to believe theyre part of their masters clan

Bollywood people feeling proud that they speak English very well, let me tell you one thing. British and Europeans don't like Indians that much from inside. You give importance to them a lot, speaking their language often and wearing and behaving like Westerns. Gandhi had bad experience with White people and he had to kick them out of the country. Looks weird Neelam saying that I can speak Hindi. I worked in Hindi movies. This is something she should tell people of other countries, not Indians. All these ladies in the video have English as a second language. English is not their mother tongue.

@@lexi_2021 it;s an International language and British people ruled almost whole of the earth, this was how it left its influence throughout the world. Indians get much impressed if you know english, you have better job prospects even if less knowledgeable. In Mumbai, many people will igone you if you don't know english.
