Hi thr…..i made a mistake about the density of core smaller than outer crust yaaa….density of core is actually greater than the crust….so the real reference shud be the mass decreases as u move from surface to the core
Bcoz gravitational force is distance between two objects….so if u move closer to the core ur distance decreases, and watever tat is on top of u will not affect the gravitational force….so to put it into simpler context…if u imagine an onion, if u wanna get into the middle of the onion, u need to peel off layers by layers, so everytime u peel off a layer…the onion bcoms smaller, so the mass will be lesser and lesser everytime u peel off the onion layer….so if u walk to the core, everytime u go down one level u r like peeling off a layer of the onion so like basically the earth will bcom smaller and smaller everytime u go down one level to the core
And since its as though the earth bcoms “smaller” everytime u go down one level, the mass decreases hence the gravitational force decreases as u move towards the core…so if u move in need opposite direction its like putting back the layers of onions together to bcom a big onion again and mass increases…therefore traveling from centre of core to surface the gravitational force will increase hence increasing the gravitational acceleration
@@mavin89I don’t quite get it coz you’re talking abt gravitational force and acceleration, but when we are talking abt the core, it’s abt the inside of the earth right, so the main thing we need to understand is the gravitational acceleration,g and the distance r will not be inversely proportional it will directly proportional right? So can you explain abt it??
