Great review and advice. The walk-up lounge is now our “go to” location for good weather days, and we split the Cobb. And I definitely recommend getting lunch here on Dapper Days. It’s like stepping back in time.
I’m going to have to go to the lounge and get the Cobb salad one day. That sounds so idealistic to go on Dapper Day! Thanks for the suggestion!
I've only ever been able to go to the Hollywood Brown Derby lounge. We had a couple flights of drinks and both had a Cobb salad and LOVED it. Cool they have a Fantasmic dining package. You certainly got awesome seats for the show! I had no idea there were so many restaurant options for the Fantasmic package. I love crab so that looks really good to me. The chicken and dumplings look really good too. Pumpkin and apple flavors- I'm so intrigued! Too bad the spoon bread enhancement wasn't worth the $8. The chocolate cake is a great size but too bad it was dry.
I need to go back and get the Cobb salad at the lounge I think!

My wife and I love the Hollywood Brown Derby! The Cobb Salad is our favorite meal in all of WDW.

50s has good food, but the service is very weird. Think about how you’d be lectured if you don’t eat all your peas, lol. We have a sense of humor but don’t want to feel uncomfortable when we are trying to enjoy our meal. If you’re not in the mood for that, you can tell the host that you prefer to observe and not partake, lol.
Sounds like it could be fun if done well or uncomfortable. Nice to have the option to opt out or have it toned down based on preference!
@@whatifdisneyworld yes! Whispering Canyon Cafe will also give you all the ketchups in the restaurant if you ask for ketchup; some restaurants are known for their shenanigans but you can ask for normal service here, too.
