My younger sister was in labour when I first heard this song. she was listening to this song as she was having her contractions. After she gave birth we listened to this song again with her newborn baby. God is great this song is a daily reminder to put our trust in the Lord always.

She is the best christian singer that has a huge heart for Jesus! I am a little biased as she is my cousin but I love her music! I used to work in the Christian bookstore before they closed the doors and it was just awesome to see her CD in there :)

To all the haters on here, remember that Christ said we are to love one another. We have to love the sinners as Christ loves us. You don't have to condone the sin, but do not give up on the individual. Where would we be if Christ decided to selectively love us?
Search your heart and ask yourself where does this hatred come from? God is love so the hatred is not coming from Him, it comes from the evil one!

I’m just some guy who’s questioning my faith. I am trying to grow, yet my Earthly Dad refuses to grow. I believe God will provide
I shared this song with my neighbor who's husband was in the hospital with Covid about a month ago. Two weeks ago he went to be with the Lord leaving her a widow and a single mother of a 7 year old boy. Her husband was a Christian but she was raised Buddhist. I have been sharing the Gospel with her and was humbled to find that she was playing this song to her husband while he lay unconscious and on a ventilator. She told me how much it comforted her to the core. Yesterday at her husband's funeral this song was played in the beginning and so many were affected by it. I also wrote a closing prayer that was read that tied in Isaiah 43.
I cannot convey the deep gratitude and the grace of God that made this song known to me and then to her and others. Audrey, I don't know if you are the author or who I can thank. This song, I'm certain has and will comfort so many walking through deep waters knowing they are on the shoulders of Jesus. Thank you and Praise God!

I know a kid and we are friends on Facebook. He discovered the music of John Fischer the other day. He thought it was cool and kind of old school. For me, it brought back memories of sitting next to John and saying hi to him on the front pew of my local church. But it also made me realize that was the time we crossed over from Christian songs you could sing around a campfire to songs you listened to on the radio. Remember "Love Him In The Morning?" That was kind of the last campfire song.
I remember going to my grandparents' church and having an old guy joke with me about the Charismatics and their "7-11 music." 7 chord changes and 11 words. Well, I am a Charismatic, and I think we need to bring back some choruses. Some 7-11 music, that kids can sing. This is a good start.

Genesis Chapter 49 - come Lord Jesus, in Your footsteps.
“All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said about them, as he blessed them. To each he gave a suitable blessing.” Genesis 49:28
There is a sweetness in knowing the foundation of the church. God built the Jewish faith upon these twelve tribes of Israel, just like the twelve disciples. A band of brothers that we’re imperfect to reflect the perfect nature of God. We will not know God until we walk in God’s footsteps. In scriptures is the history of God’s footsteps, it is a beautiful story. Are we willing to grab the hand of God and walk with Him? Will we ponder His word a little each day and allow the Holy Spirit to mentor our path. He will take you places you could never of imagined and you make the decision every single day.
What is God saying to me: You see what I see, my other self, take up thy cross and follow me. It is not a forced journey but one you must choose. Your strength is Me and not self, be humble along the path.
Dear Father, I see a world choosing You and needing Your strength to face the battles of everyday living. Some have accepted Your hand, others don’t even know You are reaching out and have yet to believe. Still others need the strength of Your Son Jesus on the journey. I know it is these that You are carrying. Help each of us see, Your other self and help carry the cross. Prayers of thanksgiving for little Leona, continue to strengthen this child’s heart, lift up her family in your loving embrace. You are a great witness through others who are feeling the weight of Your cross, bless them Father with the joy that is coming. In Jesus name, Amen.
