    Anyone else have road rage towards the crane operator for how he uses that hook?

    You would think that with the money that’s spent on equipment in mines they could come up with a better solution than that hook dangling on a crane

    That hook is the most inefficient way of unjamming. Its excruciating to watch. A long reach excavator arm with a jack hammer attachment would work faster.

    I have watched a few of these videos and now have even better understanding of things. The crane controls are very old, that hook is 10' to 12' tall (bottom of the curve to were the cabling is connected), then try to "gently" maneuver to remove the jam/s without hooking the crusher's upper support. My hat off to you on your skills on operating that crane!!!

    I'm absolutely amazed that these crushers can handle super hard rock day in and day out without getting absolutely destroyed. The steel it's made from must be as hard as you can buy.

      The wear surfaces are usually cast from manganese steels.

    Sure would be nice if the crane operators had some experience or training. Even better would be a long reach excavator that could do the same and clean the sides of rocks.

    Alat pen cungkil batunya kurang efisien kerjanya . Gantikan dengan alat penjepit baru yang di pasang di atas feeder cone, bila ada baru yang kebesaran bisa langsung di keluarkan atau di remukkan langsung.

    Why do they use an inefficient cone crusher such as this when a pair of rotating cylinders would be more effective and less prone to being jammed? Why do they just dump it all in unfiltered instead of screening it down by size or at the very least to remove fine particulates that wouldn't get crushed anyway?

    • @overbore66
      @overbore66 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't believe I've ever seen a crusher that uses 2 rotating cylinders, but I could be wrong. This unit can crush 16 or more of those trucks an hour. As far as screening before the crusher, you would need a separate pit like this one to dump the trucks into. The small rocks and fines fall right through and don't affect the efficiency at all.

    Hey "southpaw33", do you know how to operate that crane? That damm hook is free floating, no manual control over it. If you think you can do better go apply for the job. This applies to all you other expert complainers. Tune to a different video instead of watching these and bitching.
