They would never fight to the death, they are both heros. They might fight just for fun or out of a funny argument. They would not fight to kill each. :P

Ok no madara was able to put every one in mugen tsukuyomi just by shining light on them the chibaku tensei is at least large country level and naruto smashed them with a bijuu rasenshirekens and we didn't even see madara's full power now kaguya is a whole other she sent them to a whole other diminsion so you can't really say they stopped her cause she is weak more like she is the final villain btw 2 Demi gods would equal a god correct so that dosent really matter what u said about that. Now naruto has far more techniques than luffy he is also more durable note* he is an uzumaki who are known for large chakra and increased healing factor plus kurama also heals him physical strength I'm not sure sage mode is pretty op but naruto has a lot more experience than luffy and a rasenshireken would be extremely dangerous to luffy plus he can fly and he can stretch his chakra arms just like luffy can with his arms luffy so he can counter luffy's range. And I would say battle wise naruto is smarter because he has way more experience than luffy
Luffy is actually pretty fun in J-Stars. Naruto's norma moveset is kinda average though gets more fun if he's in Sage Mode. There's also Kurama Mode, but it lasts for too short of time, and you'll want to just use Bijuu Dama anyway. Soamming Rasengans is always fun though.
My favourite crossover-matchup. I mean they fit eachother so well, being a pirate & ninja (lol). If I made my own side-by-side comparison I'd put em' like this: Power: Gonna give the edge in this to Naruto. He has simply been shown cabable of destruction on a larger scale, aswell as possessing vastly different types of attacks. While Luffy takes it in terms of raw physical strength, Naruto has enough power to match & surpass even Luffy's best feats of city or even island-level of destruction. Durability: Again, Naruto takes it. While Luffy has been shown taking on attacks cabable of smashing mountains with his Haki & Gomu Gomu-fruit, Naruto has tanked moves of similar level in his series, and in Naruto: The Last he charged straight through an attack which cut the moon in half. Some say the same feat counts for this destructive capacity since the same cloak was used to basicly oneshot his opponent with a punch but I don't think it applies as such. As for durability, yes. Speed: Gonna count them both as equal in speed. Sure there are calculations made for each of their series on the internet that you can powerscale them off but in the end, it's hard to pinpoint just how fast they actully are. I've seen numbers putting Naruto at Mach 300+ speeds and similar for Luffy (no, he's not lightspeed nomatter how awesome dodging that Pacifista-lazer was. It's called pre-cog & bullet-timing. Neither is Naruto, he does not possess the Flying Thunder God.). In the end the one thing that's certain is that they are both really, really fast. Arsenals & (Battle) Intelligence: The tools & arsenals of both fighters are quite unique and Very different. While Naruto's moveset is based around his chakra-manipulation & basic ninja-tools, Luffy's is tailored around using his body for different attacks & combo's. Also in battle, they've both shown themselves to be geniuses in their own (quite opposite to their mindset outside of battle lawl) with Naruto decieving his opponents or exploiting weaknesses very efficiently, while Luffy often finds a new way to utilize his unique physique to somehow defeat his foes or learn new moves. In the end I'd say Naruto has the greater arsenal, with many more different types of attacks, techniques, modes & possible ways of fighting his foes. Intelligence-wise it's pretty hard to differ since they both excell alot when it comes to fighting while actully being total nutheads so gonna leave it as a tie. So yeah, I'd say Naruto takes it the way things are. Luffy's in my opinion strongest weapon in this fight, the Kenbunshoku Haki has been beaten many times already with Luffy getting tricked, gassed, hit, bit, trapped etc etc, showcasing that it's very far from 'perfect'. Also ofcourse Conqueror's Haki won't be a factor since Naruto is far from weakwilled and the Kyuubi is a sentient being & not an animal.
Sorry but I'm gonna have to disagree but I respect your opinion. When it comes to taking lots of physical damage luffy wins and it's obvious. Luffy has taken huge amount of poison into his body that kill other people within a minute and survived. Luffy took so many beatings from luche from cp9. Luffy has taken much much more physical damage than luffy just watch the show for your self. While in the naruto would things are more base on your skill with weapons, naruto is just not relatively "strong" in physical strength compared luffy. You have to remember that in naruto and one piece unlike dragon ball z especially in naruto the characters are really just regular humans, just with special abilities and powers. I'm naruto someone like Sakura is strong but that's something that see focuses on. For instance if I said naruto vs Goku, Goku could win in a couple seconds by teleporting behind naruto and giving him a hit to the head in super sayen and it would break his skull.
AKNXM I totally see where you are coming from, and I agree Luffy would cave Naruto's face in if they both fought in baseform. However, as soon as we give Naruto any of his modes the gap shrinks rather quickly. He threw a massive rhino with weight comparable to Luffy's molten gold-ball so far into the sky it disappeared, he (or Kurama) proved so resiliant he rebutted Pain's gravity-attack pointblank and broke free of Chibaku Tensei. Not to mention when they teamed up against the other Bijuu's, and Naruto just straight up slapped 5 different Bijuu Dama's away several kilometers. In comparison a Bijuu Dama made by Naruto with 4 tails that was maybe 0.001% of their mass, power and weight was heavy enough to make him SINK into the ground. Now we take all these forms, mash em' together along with the overwhelming power-up he recieved from the Sage of the Six Paths and suddenly, it's not a question if Naruto is as strong as Luffy, but if Luffy is as strong as Naruto. In base? Definately, but otherwise things get tougher. While indeed, Luffy has shown incredible spirit and the ability to survive against impossible odds, many times it has been by a hair and due to plot convenience, something that can be found in the Naruto-series aswell. Indeed Luffy is very durable when it comes to physical punishment due to his Devil Fruit, but the problem is many of Naruto's attacks deal damage in different ways and not just through blunt striking-trauma. Even though Luffy has survived encounters like the one he had with Magellan, it was not by winning the fight but by pushing on with sheer will and not dying after loosing. As for Goku, I'm pretty sure Goku would appreciate the chance to spar with a pair of "normal earthlings" for once. ^^ Though I doubt he'd even have to use Super Saiyan 1 against both Naruto & Luffy together, it would look like Goku & Vegeta's sparring-match with Whis in 'Ressurection of F', hehe.
I don't think people who are saying Luffy is better than Naruto are currently reading the Naruto Shippuden manga. If they were, they would know that Naruto can move faster than lightning, has multiple arms which can change shape and size (e.g. claws to cut luffy), can easily blow up entire country sides with tailed beast bombs, cut and destroys things on a near molecular level with his rasenshuriken and it's variants, can create identical clones of himself, and he can react to things MUCH faster than anyone else thanks to his sage mode which increases his perception and reflexes. Sage mode also grants Naruto increased durability as well. His 10 truth seeking balls would easily deflect Luffy's punches. He can now create a three headed 6 armed nine tails, which easily towers over sea kings. As much as I love One Piece Naruto would just destroy Luffy.
Sea king in one piece are 10× bigger than kurama Sage mode only last 3-10mins Luffy was reacting to lighting bolts in skypia image haki now.. he dodges lasers without even looking at them and moves parts of his body Luffy moves way faster than the speed of sound if he's tied up from hands to feat he is still able to run faster than the eye's could see Naruto's physical speed would be super sonic if he teleports it's light speeds which he cannot spam in a single battle Physical strength feats Luffy owns since day 1 Naruto is probably 28 now so he wins mid-high diff with the loss of ashura mode
Nah One Piece anime is the shittiest anime of all time. That shit is SOOOO fucking annoying how they keep making a single episode so long. Seriously 1 episode took 5 minutes for reaction times.... I'd rather have random fillers instead of stupid extended reaction times to everything. But... I do think One Piece manga is better than Naruto's.

Naruto moves faster than lightning (Raikage), can heal limbs, has a NEAR limitless chakra, has island busting attacks, has rotating black balls around him that can cut through ANYTHING,etc... Should I go on? Also don't come up with arguments like oh Naruto won't have enough time to go 9 tails mode. That is literally one of the most biased arguments you can come up with. Lets look at Luffy. So luffy has all three types of Haki. Observation Haki is useless against Naruto because Luffy will know what attacks are coming but he won't be fast enough to react, not to mention Naruto has already fought people with sharingan which has almost the same ability as observation haki. Fastest I've seen Luffy travel was using Soru against the Pacifistas or against Don Chinjao. Well neither Naruto or Luffy have feats that make it possible to compare their relative strengths. Now Arnaments Haki may be of use against Naruto in that it increase Luffy's attacks as well as act as a natural defense, but lets be real his arnaments haki barely managed to defend against Hody's teeth. Also Kings Haki is completely useless against Naruto since kings haki is only used to knock out fodder, which Naruto isn't. So... Strength: Unknown Speed: Naruto > Luffy Stamina: Naruto > Luffy Destruction: Naruto >>>>>>> Luffy and anything else you can think of, battle wise, Naruto most likely is more powerful. Granted this is Naruto nearly at the end of the series compared to Luffy only half way through the series. Maybe Luffy can get stronger but I doubt he could be as destructive as Naruto unless he gets a destructive devil fruit like Whitebeards or a logia fruit like Akainu. As far as strength goes, I'm gonna have to give that to Luffy, as his power comes from within since he ate the Gum Gum Fruit. However, as far as combat experience goes, I'm gonna have to give that to Naruto, as he's practically devoted himself to training to be the best, where as Luffy doesn't care much about training, and just wants to be the Pirate King. Overall, I'd have to give the victory to the both of them, as both have their strengths which give a good advantage of the other's weaknesses
Current Naruto is stronger physically. SM Naruto Tossed a giant charging Rhino like a baseball far above the clouds which is far superior to Luffy's feat of just pushing two buildings(which was even due to toon force). By scaling and calcs PS durability comes to be country level due to that feat. And Naruto is capable of destroying that PS just by a punch (due to 5 tails power obviously).
I haven't read the manga on either. Yet at the moment watching both animes week after week. I gotta say that as of this moment Luffy would win against Naruto. It wouldn't be an easy fight for either but in the end the shear punishing attacks that Luffy can spam would overwhelm Naruto. Rasengan Shuriken has proven to be tankable thanks to the Raikage who took it directly and got up. So Armanant Haki has Luffy covered against this. Shadow clones are useless against Luffy's Gatling gun Sneak attacks won't work thanks to his Observation Haki. The Bjuu bomb will never land and even if it gazed luffy he can tank the damage. In his fight against Ceasar Clown a gas explosion was used against Luffy which stunned him. Ceasar went for a larger explosion with his "Smiles" an explosion large enough to wreck a marine battle ship. Yet luffy dodge the entire blast unscathed. As for the size of the 9 tails. Luffy has from episode 1 been knocking out monsters of huge porportions. Oars being one of his largest opponents yet. So knocking around a large monster is a feat well within Luffy's abilities. Now mind you. I'm going from the anime only. Not the mangas.

Base form luffy is stronger, and faster. Naruto has to turn sage mode or Chakra mode to increase his speed and strength. Luffy has lifted huge buildings and destroyed it in his normal form. Naruto had to turn sage mode to lift anything near that. Like I said the only way naruto can win is turning Chakra mode. And the series has ended naruto has reached his peak which is why he's soo incredibly strong. While one piece is still going on, and I prefer naruto over one piece but in general luffy is the smarter, stronger, and faster fighter. Not only that poison doesn't affect luffy anymore so that's another tool to his arsenal

I am a huge One Piece Fan, Luffy still has no chance, even with gear fourth. Naruto has the advantage of Wind Chakra, which basically overrides Luffy's blunt force advantage because Wind Chakra cuts if I am not mistaken

***** Gear 2nd doesn't shorten his life span anymore. He trained for two years during the timeskip and now has full mastery over Conqueror's Haki, Observational Haki, and Armament Haki. He can now use Gear 2nd & 3rd without consequences to his body, and Gear 4th is about to be shown in the next chapter...

Creo que antes de el time skip lo debilitaba mucho en la pelea con Rob lucci quedo inmóvil yo en tendí de lo que dijo lucci que el cuerpo de luffy cuando utiliza el gear second su cuerpo quema más calorías para proporcionarle energía y ala vez su corazón trabaja más rápido a un humano normal le explotarían los órganos pero esto no pasa con luffy porque es de goma,creo que haora que entreno 2 años ya no lo debilita tanto.

I honestly as of write now don't know who would win, it used to be luffy for most of the series but naruto has some overpowered powerups in the manga. Which he never worked for.He has all of the sage beasts powers and has a shit load of chakra and jutsu variations. He can also use sage mode with his now perfect biguu mode. In terms of speed he is faster than the raikage , being able to dodge his attack. Meaning his is faster than lightling. His power is immense meaning he can fire biguu bombs, able to easily destroy mountains, he can fly and naruto can also regenerate almost anything and he has a crazy rate of healing. Naruto is a force to be reckoned with, and this is nearing the end of the series. Naruto shippuden is almost ending so of course he needs to be a powerhouse. Its safe to assume this is a strong a naruto will get. Now onto one piece's luffy. Luffy from his childhood around age 7 used to play in the mountains. He jumped ravines and fell into many dangers.He fought alligators, bears and even managed to defeat a giant tiger, with the help of his bros. At age 7 luffy was stronger than full grown men shiiit. His gum gum power was as strong as a pistol at this age. He trained it. Luffy when he hits you good would probably know you out at age 7. Later in the series he develops more uses for his gum gum power. Fighting a this shark dude he destroyed a near 20 story house with 1 kick along with the main villain. 2 in 1. Later on when fighting Mr crocodile. A villain way stronger than him. He destroys layers and layers of bedrock from the bottom with Mr crocodile mixed up in it. Luffy later develops gear 2nd, increasing his power and speed respectively. Now I don't know if he is near light speed or not, but he is shown to be disappearing and reappearing, just like naruto. His punches are also invisible and one of them has enough force to know you back maybe 100 feet? I mean luffys punching seriously look like they do some damage, bone breaking. At this point luffy is way stronger than naruto. Even without going in gear 2nd. You could say luffy is in sage mode, without any gears. He can't be hurt from blunt attacks, is immune to poison, doesn't take fall damage, and like I said he has tremendous strength, speed, reflexes and overall a huge load of battle experience. All of which topped with his insane will power. Remember when he climb the drum rockies? While carrying two people, he managed to climb a mountain basically, which was also steep as hell. Time skip wise, luffy is much stronger than naruto. He has haki. Haki is hacks man. He can see everything before it happens, coat himself in armor, and possibly reflect anything attack.not to mention make people pass out with his shear presence. Luffy is strong as hell. So is naruto. If they foght as they are I would not know who would win. But then again. My Milan point of this essay XD. Luffy has room for improvement. He has to become stronger than anyone in his universe. Look at shanks, no one fucks with shanks. His presence alone has the power to destroy. Fluffy will one day surpass shanks and even gol d roger. Taw Ku first off sage mode wouldn't beat luffy's second gear, second gear makes him move so fast he can't be seen. Second of all sea stone weapons wouldn't work seeing as sea stone doesn't exist in naruto's world. Then there's luffy's haki. Observational haki will sense and let him doge any moves directed at him no matter how fast. Color of armaments haki will make his body as hard as steel and will repel all energies. With this he can touch things like fire or lava and not be harmed. Cough wind too cough. As for his shadow clones go. Gum gum Gatling enough said. Also he has third gear which makes his fists extremely large but doesn't reduce his speed. So not only would naruto be unable to beat him or cut him, he wouldn't even be able to land a hit on him.

You people need realize that these anime/manga were made by two different people, both creators gave them powers they saw fit to handle world... Naruto can't touch luffy due to his DF and overall fighting ability. Plus Naruto lost his powers and has no way of hitting Luffy. The fact is if no one from naruto can learn haki then they have no chance. If u don't have haki, naruto has no chance against luffy. Fact is luffy is nowhere near his peak whereas naruto has reached it already.
I think Sage Mode would be Naruto's counter against Luffy's Haki. All of his senses are heightened and he gains great physical strength to where he can crush a person's body and throw gigantic beasts with little to know effort. And when combining it with his Kyuubi Link Mode or his Kyuubi Six Paths Mode, I think Haki will become the least of his worries.

Before seeing The last movie I thought Luffy was stronger but after I saw Naruto's fight with Toneri ( Sage of 6 path's descendant) I think that Naruto is alot stronger now since he only used a few percentage of his power (like 50% or less) against a descendant of god. And pwned that M0ThEr F@cker with one punch.He really improved alot in that movie . But also think that once Luffy and Naruto meets each other, its impossible for them to fight since they have a few traits in common.

Naruto is much closer to its end than One Piece, so of course Naruto is currently stronger. Luffy still hasn't upgraded from Gear Second yet while Naruto's gone through many new upgrades. Luffy, at the very least, has to learn to do a full-body armament Haki, and then beyond. But you know what? Naruto's super modes are stronger than Luffy's gears from about Jinchuriki 2 and up, BUT... Luffy was stronger than Naruto for the entire time all the way up until Naruto *really* upgraded as Shippuden is ending. Die-hard Naruto fans like to discount Luffy because his powers are *simpler* than Naruto's, but that's not really fair. Naruto has all the flashy jutsus, but there's nothing quite like just getting decked in the face by Luffy, no matter how many toads and chakra balls you can summon. Simpler doesn't mean weaker.

Luffy is actually pretty fun in J-Stars. Naruto's norma moveset is kinda average though gets more fun if he's in Sage Mode. There's also Kurama Mode, but it lasts for too short of time, and you'll want to just use Bijuu Dama anyway. Soamming Rasengans is always fun though.
My favourite crossover-matchup. I mean they fit eachother so well, being a pirate & ninja (lol). If I made my own side-by-side comparison I'd put em' like this:
Power:
Gonna give the edge in this to Naruto. He has simply been shown cabable of destruction on a larger scale, aswell as possessing vastly different types of attacks. While Luffy takes it in terms of raw physical strength, Naruto has enough power to match & surpass even Luffy's best feats of city or even island-level of destruction.
Durability:
Again, Naruto takes it. While Luffy has been shown taking on attacks cabable of smashing mountains with his Haki & Gomu Gomu-fruit, Naruto has tanked moves of similar level in his series, and in Naruto: The Last he charged straight through an attack which cut the moon in half. Some say the same feat counts for this destructive capacity since the same cloak was used to basicly oneshot his opponent with a punch but I don't think it applies as such. As for durability, yes.
Speed:
Gonna count them both as equal in speed. Sure there are calculations made for each of their series on the internet that you can powerscale them off but in the end, it's hard to pinpoint just how fast they actully are. I've seen numbers putting Naruto at Mach 300+ speeds and similar for Luffy (no, he's not lightspeed nomatter how awesome dodging that Pacifista-lazer was. It's called pre-cog & bullet-timing. Neither is Naruto, he does not possess the Flying Thunder God.). In the end the one thing that's certain is that they are both really, really fast.
Arsenals & (Battle) Intelligence:
The tools & arsenals of both fighters are quite unique and Very different. While Naruto's moveset is based around his chakra-manipulation & basic ninja-tools, Luffy's is tailored around using his body for different attacks & combo's. Also in battle, they've both shown themselves to be geniuses in their own (quite opposite to their mindset outside of battle lawl) with Naruto decieving his opponents or exploiting weaknesses very efficiently, while Luffy often finds a new way to utilize his unique physique to somehow defeat his foes or learn new moves. In the end I'd say Naruto has the greater arsenal, with many more different types of attacks, techniques, modes & possible ways of fighting his foes. Intelligence-wise it's pretty hard to differ since they both excell alot when it comes to fighting while actully being total nutheads so gonna leave it as a tie.
So yeah, I'd say Naruto takes it the way things are. Luffy's in my opinion strongest weapon in this fight, the Kenbunshoku Haki has been beaten many times already with Luffy getting tricked, gassed, hit, bit, trapped etc etc, showcasing that it's very far from 'perfect'. Also ofcourse Conqueror's Haki won't be a factor since Naruto is far from weakwilled and the Kyuubi is a sentient being & not an animal.
Sorry but I'm gonna have to disagree but I respect your opinion. When it comes to taking lots of physical damage luffy wins and it's obvious. Luffy has taken huge amount of poison into his body that kill other people within a minute and survived. Luffy took so many beatings from luche from cp9. Luffy has taken much much more physical damage than luffy just watch the show for your self. While in the naruto would things are more base on your skill with weapons, naruto is just not relatively "strong" in physical strength compared luffy. You have to remember that in naruto and one piece unlike dragon ball z especially in naruto the characters are really just regular humans, just with special abilities and powers. I'm naruto someone like Sakura is strong but that's something that see focuses on. For instance if I said naruto vs Goku, Goku could win in a couple seconds by teleporting behind naruto and giving him a hit to the head in super sayen and it would break his skull.
AKNXM I totally see where you are coming from, and I agree Luffy would cave Naruto's face in if they both fought in baseform. However, as soon as we give Naruto any of his modes the gap shrinks rather quickly. He threw a massive rhino with weight comparable to Luffy's molten gold-ball so far into the sky it disappeared, he (or Kurama) proved so resiliant he rebutted Pain's gravity-attack pointblank and broke free of Chibaku Tensei. Not to mention when they teamed up against the other Bijuu's, and Naruto just straight up slapped 5 different Bijuu Dama's away several kilometers.
In comparison a Bijuu Dama made by Naruto with 4 tails that was maybe 0.001% of their mass, power and weight was heavy enough to make him SINK into the ground.
Now we take all these forms, mash em' together along with the overwhelming power-up he recieved from the Sage of the Six Paths and suddenly, it's not a question if Naruto is as strong as Luffy, but if Luffy is as strong as Naruto. In base? Definately, but otherwise things get tougher.
While indeed, Luffy has shown incredible spirit and the ability to survive against impossible odds, many times it has been by a hair and due to plot convenience, something that can be found in the Naruto-series aswell. Indeed Luffy is very durable when it comes to physical punishment due to his Devil Fruit, but the problem is many of Naruto's attacks deal damage in different ways and not just through blunt striking-trauma. Even though Luffy has survived encounters like the one he had with Magellan, it was not by winning the fight but by pushing on with sheer will and not dying after loosing.
As for Goku, I'm pretty sure Goku would appreciate the chance to spar with a pair of "normal earthlings" for once. ^^ Though I doubt he'd even have to use Super Saiyan 1 against both Naruto & Luffy together, it would look like Goku & Vegeta's sparring-match with Whis in 'Ressurection of F', hehe.

I don't think people who are saying Luffy is better than Naruto are currently reading the Naruto Shippuden manga. If they were, they would know that Naruto can move faster than lightning, has multiple arms which can change shape and size (e.g. claws to cut luffy), can easily blow up entire country sides with tailed beast bombs, cut and destroys things on a near molecular level with his rasenshuriken and it's variants, can create identical clones of himself, and he can react to things MUCH faster than anyone else thanks to his sage mode which increases his perception and reflexes. Sage mode also grants Naruto increased durability as well. His 10 truth seeking balls would easily deflect Luffy's punches. He can now create a three headed 6 armed nine tails, which easily towers over sea kings. As much as I love One Piece Naruto would just destroy Luffy.

Naruto moves faster than lightning (Raikage), can heal limbs, has a NEAR limitless chakra, has island busting attacks, has rotating black balls around him that can cut through ANYTHING,etc... Lets look at Luffy. So luffy has all three types of Haki. Observation Haki is useless against Naruto because Luffy will know what attacks are coming but he won't be fast enough to react, not to mention Naruto has already fought people with sharingan which has almost the same ability as observation haki. Fastest I've seen Luffy travel was using Soru against the Pacifistas or against Don Chinjao. Well neither Naruto or Luffy have feats that make it possible to compare their relative strengths. Now Arnaments Haki may be of use against Naruto in that it increase Luffy's attacks as well as act as a natural defense, but lets be real his arnaments haki barely managed to defend against Hody's teeth. Also Kings Haki is completely useless against Naruto since kings haki is only used to knock out fodder, which Naruto isn't.

U must remember that Madara's Perfect Susanoo could tank a giant Juubidama when just a smaller juubidama by a weaker version of juubi could easily destroy a large island/ small country. By scaling and calcs PS durability comes to be country level due to that feat. And Naruto is capable of destroying that PS just by a punch (due to 5 tails power obviously).

I haven't read the manga on either. Yet at the moment watching both animes week after week. I gotta say that as of this moment Luffy would win against Naruto. It wouldn't be an easy fight for either but in the end the shear punishing attacks that Luffy can spam would overwhelm Naruto.
Rasengan Shuriken has proven to be tankable thanks to the Raikage who took it directly and got up. So Armanant Haki has Luffy covered against this.

The Bjuu bomb will never land and even if it gazed luffy he can tank the damage. In his fight against Ceasar Clown a gas explosion was used against Luffy which stunned him. Ceasar went for a larger explosion with his "Smiles" an explosion large enough to wreck a marine battle ship. Yet luffy dodge the entire blast unscathed.
As for the size of the 9 tails. Luffy has from episode 1 been knocking out monsters of huge porportions. Oars being one of his largest opponents yet. So knocking around a large monster is a feat well within Luffy's abilities.

Base form luffy is stronger, and faster. Naruto has to turn sage mode or Chakra mode to increase his speed and strength. Luffy has lifted huge buildings and destroyed it in his normal form. Naruto had to turn sage mode to lift anything near that. Like I said the only way naruto can win is turning Chakra mode. And the series has ended naruto has reached his peak which is why he's soo incredibly strong. While one piece is still going on, and I prefer naruto over one piece but in general luffy is the smarter, stronger, and faster fighter. Not only that poison doesn't affect luffy anymore so that's another tool to his arsenal

I honestly as of write now don't know who would win, it used to be luffy for most of the series but naruto has some overpowered powerups in the manga. Which he never worked for.He has all of the sage beasts powers and has a shit load of chakra and jutsu variations. He can also use sage mode with his now perfect biguu mode. In terms of speed he is faster than the raikage , being able to dodge his attack. Meaning his is faster than lightling. His power is immense meaning he can fire biguu bombs, able to easily destroy mountains, he can fly and naruto can also regenerate almost anything and he has a crazy rate of healing. Naruto is a force to be reckoned with, and this is nearing the end of the series. Naruto shippuden is almost ending so of course he needs to be a powerhouse. Its safe to assume this is a strong a naruto will get. Now onto one piece's luffy. Luffy from his childhood around age 7 used to play in the mountains. He jumped ravines and fell into many dangers.He fought alligators, bears and even managed to defeat a giant tiger, with the help of his bros. At age 7 luffy was stronger than full grown men shiiit. His gum gum power was as strong as a pistol at this age. He trained it. Luffy when he hits you good would probably know you out at age 7. Later in the series he develops more uses for his gum gum power. Fighting a this shark dude he destroyed a near 20 story house with 1 kick along with the main villain. 2 in 1. Later on when fighting Mr crocodile. A villain way stronger than him. He destroys layers and layers of bedrock from the bottom with Mr crocodile mixed up in it. Luffy later develops gear 2nd, increasing his power and speed respectively. Now I don't know if he is near light speed or not, but he is shown to be disappearing and reappearing, just like naruto. His punches are also invisible and one of them has enough force to know you back maybe 100 feet? I mean luffys punching seriously look like they do some damage, bone breaking. At this point luffy is way stronger than naruto. Even without going in gear 2nd. You could say luffy is in sage mode, without any gears. He can't be hurt from blunt attacks, is immune to poison, doesn't take fall damage, and like I said he has tremendous strength, speed, reflexes and overall a huge load of battle experience. All of which topped with his insane will power. Remember when he climb the drum rockies? While carrying two people, he managed to climb a mountain basically, which was also steep as hell. Time skip wise, luffy is much stronger than naruto. He has haki. Haki is hacks man. Im up to date with one piece and there's no way Luffy can beat Naurto ok, give me one reason how Luffy can beat Naruto.
Taw Ku first off sage mode wouldn't beat luffy's second gear, second gear makes him move so fast he can't be seen. Second of all sea stone weapons wouldn't work seeing as sea stone doesn't exist in naruto's world. Then there's luffy's haki. Observational haki will sense and let him doge any moves directed at him no matter how fast. Color of armaments haki will make his body as hard as steel and will repel all energies. With this he can touch things like fire or lava and not be harmed. Cough wind too cough. As for his shadow clones go. Gum gum Gatling enough said. Also he has third gear which makes his fists extremely large but doesn't reduce his speed. So not only would naruto be unable to beat him or cut him, he wouldn't even be able to land a hit on him.

Naruto can't touch luffy due to his DF and overall fighting ability. Plus Naruto lost his powers and has no way of hitting Luffy. Even if he could shoot a tailed beast bomb Luffy's body absorbs the impact and shoots it back. Even Sasuke couldn't beat him. Maybe with Fire Jutsu but armament haki can block everything. Lightning? Can be blocked with haki or his Devil fruit. Rubber can whistand Lightning.

I think Sage Mode would be Naruto's counter against Luffy's Haki. All of his senses are heightened and he gains great physical strength to where he can crush a person's body and throw gigantic beasts with little to know effort. And when combining it with his Kyuubi Link Mode or his Kyuubi Six Paths Mode, I think Haki will become the least of his worries.

Before seeing The last movie I thought Luffy was stronger but after I saw Naruto's fight with Toneri ( Sage of 6 path's descendant) I think that Naruto is alot stronger now since he only used a few percentage of his power (like 50% or less) against a descendant of god. And pwned that M0ThEr F@cker with one punch.He really improved alot in that movie . But also think that once Luffy and Naruto meets each other, its impossible for them to fight since they have a few traits in common.
I saw this video on my suggestions and i immediatly knew that people would be making comment wars about who would overpower who. Seriously people, it's two entirely different universes with different rules, stop trying to pinpoint a strongest one when clearly their own worlds differenciate then alot alredy.
Naruto is much closer to its end than One Piece, so of course Naruto is currently stronger. Luffy still hasn't upgraded from Gear Second yet while Naruto's gone through many new upgrades. Luffy, at the very least, has to learn to do a full-body armament Haki, and then beyond. But you know what? Naruto's super modes are stronger than Luffy's gears from about Jinchuriki 2 and up, BUT... Luffy was stronger than Naruto for the entire time all the way up until Naruto *really* upgraded as Shippuden is ending. Die-hard Naruto fans like to discount Luffy because his powers are *simpler* than Naruto's, but that's not really fair. Naruto has all the flashy jutsus, but there's nothing quite like just getting decked in the face by Luffy, no matter how many toads and chakra balls you can summon. Simpler doesn't mean weaker.
