I'm revisiting the Splatoon OCs created in my first video, fleshing them out and chatting about their backstory and lore. I still have a way to go in terms of character development and character design but I'm happy with the direction I'm going in with them!

I smiled a bit when you brought up Pebbles cuz in game I named my Lil Buddy pebbles cuz I loved the idea that he always went out and brough my Octo back rocks he'd found so my Octo just has a bunch of rocks in his apartment windowsill

THEYRE SOOO COOL I love seeing other folks fleshing out salmonids stuff, I have an au of my splat ocs where I flesh out that world pretty heavily so it’s a blast to see other folks doing some as well

@@Peebiie my main four have a good bit of info already and some not entirely finalised designs but my newer splatband is a still a little barebones aside from the species of the members and their genre. I can ramble about them a little if you're interested!

I too have some splatoon ocs, and I gave them LORE, which is tricky, but veeery very fun)) especially that part where you searching all info that you can find in the game. Im also writing a comic of them, soooo yeaah))😅😅 (ALSO SIDE ORDER OHMYGOOOSH THIS IS SOOOO COOOOOOL A WANT TO EAT IIITTTT)
And I'm very happy that you posting on TH-cam about your oc, bc there is not much videos like these, and seeing people theorising adt splatoon is so cool :)

@@finleyxoxo Maybe start with an aspect of Splatoon you really enjoy! For these guys I started with the concept of just a scientist (cause i love making them) then expanded by asking questions like "what do they study?" - I like Salmonid culture so maybe that. and expanded from there! Or use your player character as a starting point! :D
