Awwww Auntie I love that you are enjoying your retirement and embracing new activities like swimming I wish more African women in your age group would embrace this i see a lot of them just settle into the "mama" lifestyle talking about they are too old to do this or that which i disagree with because as long as you are alive you can do anything within your capabilities. I am an avid crotchetier as well and been swimming since i was seven both are like therapy for me. Erokamano Aunty for the vlogs!

The lady is extremely useful to the family in retirement. I think they hope she retired earlier than the actual retirement time. She is a jack of all trade now. I am younger than her but I am truly challenged by what is able to do at sixty.

Your channel is so calming. The mix veg curry looks yummy. We make a similar one but we add some crushed ginger and garlic to the onions when frying, then we add the curry spices and lastly the veg. It is so important to be occupied both for mental and physical well being. I have another 10 years to go before retirement, would love to do volunteering work with the elderly.

Have enjoyed the video. Loved your crotchet and knitting. I am retired and do the same too on and off and am thinking of how to make money from it. Made table mats, shawls, cushion covers baby cardigans and booties for family.

1. One day everyone will retire
2. When retired/ retrenched don't ask yourself what can I do today? Rather ask yourself what new thing can I learn today
3. This is for your great great grandchildren to see how their great great grandma looked like
4. It will be very interesting after 350 years to watch in you tube how life in Kenya was like, by then, many things would have greatly changed
