You and I have very similar stories but I ended up relapsing and I did this about three times over the course of 20 years. The last time I surrendered it all to God he told me the reason why this whole entire time I kept going back into my Waze was because of the demonic attachment that I had in my life. We can go to God and be forgiven but if we do not clear up the demonic attachments in our lives this process just repeats relapse and recycles. This entire time I did not know how much of a spiritual world we lived in. Any Ouija boards, dream catchers crystals, horror movie, death metal rock albums etc. anything that could be A foothold for demons had to go and cleared out of my house.
