- Mashed Potato Records has been favorite of ours here at the Western station. Along time ago I used to watch the videos that their amigo Josh Shoemaker produced of their endeavors, and that was the first taste of the mighty music that is MASHED POTATO RECORDS. Sam Doores is country soul music. From his band and ventures The Deslondes, Sundown Songs, and Hurray for the Riff Raff, I can easily say that Sam is a pillar and voice of the music scene of our time.

I record and master all tracks through an old iphone 6s running garage band. I have the newest iphone but im trying to get that vintage 2015 vibe. I would suggest purchasing an old 6s if you really want to hear its full sonic potential. It also makes a cool sound when you put your mouth on the speaker.
