Elderly 3. Disabled people 4. Fur Babies She said that they weren't able to help themselves in times of danger and it was up to those who could to help the above or call for the help they needed. Her selflessness taught us to care about people and fur babies more as much as we cared about those we loved. I have spent my entire adult life rescuing abandoned and left to die fur babies. I also was a Humane Society foster home for 20+ years. I took the "no chance of rehabilitation and out of time" fur babies. My home never had less than 6-10 abandoned or deemed unable to rehabilitate fur babies. The dog I fostered that the Humane Society decided "that the ability to rehabilitate and put into a forever home at less than 5%" Out of the 63 dogs/fur babies I took in from the Humane Society, I was able to rehabilitate within a year and put them into their forever homes.... With the exception of 7 over the 20+ years... Those 7 precious fur babies stayed with my family and we became their forever home ❤️

Snow and ice in Florida is very rare. I lived in Florida when I was a child. There was one winter that had a few mornings with a hard frost on the ground in Miami. We had to get jackets, and nobody ever believes me! But I was there, and I saw it.
It is fun. Just get your bread, milk and tp and have your shovels by the door 😂 I’m in rural ny, I’m hoping we get a foot.🎉 When it all freezes over and you could sled anywhere…it’s a blast. Just grab a piece of cardboard 😅
Chas, SC here. We're forecast to get 3"-5". Snow is very rare along the coast this far south, especially more than a dusting. Used to live in northern NC where we occasionally got a few inches and rarely got a foot. For both locations, snow is rare enough that I am excited.

Bethlehem Georgia here (off HWY 316 and 20 minutes from Epps Bridge in Athens) and we're being told we're going to get more snow than we did on Friday January 10th! We got just shy of 3" that day, that later in the afternoon had about 1/4th of an inch of ice on top of the snow. I'm a native South Texan who never saw snow, or really a true winter, before moving to Georgia in 1999... I definitely don't miss the South Texas heat... However I don't like snow either 🙄
First, Max, I love your channel. Since I'm an old timer, I remember in 1973 Georgia had a problem with ice and snow. I remember because I was living in Florida and my grandparents came to visit me. Since they weren't rich they traveled by Greyhound and due to the ice and snow in Georgia, they had to stay a day or two longer because the buses couldn't travel on the roads. Georgia didn't have the equipment to deal with those conditions. Also, when I moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1972 I remember seeing snowflakes in the headlights of my husband's car when he was going to work around 5 in the morning. So it's been about 50 years, but it has dipped that low before.
We had flurries in Central Florida in the early 2010s, and had snow falling on the beach about 5-6 years ago in Jacksonville Beach. Also Jacksonville had 3 inches of snow or so in 1989. Lots of accidents and I95 was shutdown. So yeah much more recently than that.
I guess this is the new norm for central Texas. I’m from San Antonio and we’ve had winter storms like this 2017, 2021, and now 2025. It wasn’t like this throughout my childhood!

Some parts of the south & southeast do not have a large fleet of snow removal equipment.
So 2-4 inches can paralyze a towns & cities.

We would spend 4 hours at a time inn snow sledding.then head home for lunch with hot cocoa ,dry clothes then out again til dinner.we loved snow.❤😊😊😊😊
