I would definitely love to see a video of must-haves for dorm life (that you brought and were necessities -like the band-aides) and maybe even comments from you on things you brought but didn’t really need.
I would love to see a day in a life at JMU campus tour and even a day in the life Harrisonburg tour. Is it easy to get to the nearest grocery store, or shopping mall? How do you get along with all your roommates? Did you get to choose them or randomly selected?

do you think that 6 inch bed risers would work to fit the dresser? :)
I used 8 inch bed risers and the dresser fit perfectly so I would recommend that you get the 8 inch just to be safe
hey! is it possible to fit a bed, fridge, and desk on the one wall? do y'all have a fridge?
Hi! Yes it is possible! I didn’t show it in the video, but on my roommate’s side she was able to fit a mini fridge against the wall alongside her bed and desk. JMU has restrictions for mini fridge’s so we just shared one small fridge:) I think you could have two mini fridges in one dorm if you’d like. Hope this helps!

Hi! I shopped for most of my bedding at IKEA and Target! The knitted throw blanket and all three of the throw pillows are IKEA. I paired it with the plain white comforter from Target. The pink rug was from Amazon and is linked in the description. Hope this helps!
I just found out I’m going to be in Hoffman and I was wondering how y’all were your bed risers? Because I’m hoping to put my dresser underneath my bed too
Mine were 8 inches! I bought them off of Amazon. The dresser fit underneath the bed perfectly once I added the bed risers. JMU doesn’t allow the electronic bed risers so just make sure you just get the plain plastic ones:)

i’m coming to jmu next year and i’m really thinking of hoffman hall, what is the bathrooms like?
I totally recommend Hoffman!! It’s the perfect location and a very nice building. It is literally nicknamed “Hotel Hoffman” because it is very similar to a hotel on the inside! Since the rooms are suite style, you’d share a bathroom with only three other girls (your roommate + the two girls in the dorm next door). The bathroom has two sinks with tons of counter space and one shower and one toilet. We personally decorated our bathroom with a bath rug, a cute shower curtain, and some cute succulents for the countertop. We also got a tiered bathroom shelf to go underneath the sinks for storage.
