I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living in Cebu City, Philippines. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my TH-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club President and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
I enjoy watching videos especially singing performances and react to them.
I keep my reactions real and natural.

This song was released into 2 versions; Malaysian version (high note) for Malaysian song market and also Indonesian version (low note) for Indonesian song market. There are some differences or more between these two versions. But I prefer more on Malaysian version for 'Mengapa' song like Farah sang in Akademi Fantasia 2.

they were given the opportunity to sing a medley as a showcase of the emergence of malaysia's new star singers that came out of both nationally aired talent shows

I was in the audience watching her performed this song. All this AF kids are really good singer but Astro didn't managed them well. They only pushing certain people out. Those who are making big they managed to break their contract from Astro Management. Farah is one of the contestant who is really good with high notes.

This was around 2004. Akademi fantasia season 2. Each season have a principle. The principle was ramli m.s the gegar vaganza judge. Most of the students in that season was great. One of them linda nanuwil join gegar vaganza which held this year.

WoW Nephi you finally met Farah ... I watched live telecast of this reality show in year 2004 and when come to Farah performance I suddenly have a goose bump due to her very high not voice. We all expecting her to be a legend star after that but she suddenly missing from performers radar .. what a waste to the industry.
