Tony Klarich…the OG hot dog skier. I used to check out vhs tapes from the library to watch him hot dog around the lake. Very cool. Do more with these guys. More more more.
I'm in Australia and grew up water skiing in the 70's and 80's. Bought my first ski in 1985 and it was an HO Turbo just like Tony used to ride (still got it too!!). I subscribed to Waterski magazine and couldn't wait for it to arrive each month. I also bought Tony's book on how to hotdog ski, it was my bible as a teenager in the 80's. Great memories learning most of those tricks. Awesome video Shaun and hope to see more with Mike and Tony..
Man, Mike Murphy, we rode Sky Skis with him in the late 90s in NorCal, that's some history right there, dude is a trip and a LEGEND. Great video Shaun!!!!!
What a cool video! Being a show skier myself, I can totally appreciate these guys. Definitely appreciate you! You never fail to impress with the videos. Great history lesson. Thx
Love this idea for a series and super cool info with some real legends! Great editing on this video. Can't wait for Pt. 2! The real question is who's got the better slalom ski flip - Shaun or Tony??
The videos you are making will be around long after you are gone. Thank you for all you have done for watersports!I clipped things out of wakeboarding magazine as a kid and had my entire door covered with all my favorite pictures/athletes. I know you were up there many times. Unfortunately most of it has been ripped down over the years from little kids visiting grandma’s.
I could go for some wake foil content. I got into it last year and am having a lot of fun with it. There's a lot of foil videos on TH-cam, but not many guys doing wake.
More with these two please.

Wasn't that book title Hot Doggin? White paperback from what I remember and had it as well.
@@Shaun.Murray It was called Hot Dog slalom skiing with Tony doing a tip drop on the cover. I reckon I've still got it somewhere..
Brings back great memories behind the boat… riding the just released Hydroslide kneeboard and then much later trying the original Air Chair.
Went to Cypress Gardens in 1989 as an 8 year old Canadian kid, it absolutely blew my mind. It’s truly a special place.
Wow, great history. Those guys are legends.
Absolutely amazing and so well deserved!!!!!
Billy! Powerbootsch!
Soo good! Could not stop watching this one 🔥
Oh wow! I remember Tony from the magazines well. Maybe on of these videos you can get him back there to show us some moves!

Hey Shaun. Love the channel. I just started to foil board a month ago and love the challenge. Thanks for the history coverage man. Keep it up
Right on Thomas! More coming soon!
Murphy is one of the funniest guys I've rode with. Great to see the historical part. Also great to see the sit foil get some time on your channel.

Man, this brings back memories! Rode sky skis many years ago when I was young. What a fun way to get introduced to insanity.
You are such a legend!
Rode with my dad and Mike at lake Elsinore back in 03

🏄WIPEOUT! 😆 Lots of fun spills in this video but great job getting the hang of it! Was steering done with the feet?
More steering in the hips but not as tippy toe to heel as I expected
You looked like someone who was still figuring out the controller.
A controller that take you for a ride
Mike is still alive? Holy…
And crushing it
