Of the others I like Xandria, Delain, Beyond the Black, All For Metal, Overkill, Ad Infinitum, Temperance, Obituary, Crowne and of course the mighty Everdawn. Century Black is my fave but also love Silver Lining which you mentioned on my video. I also adore the track Orion’s Belt. We have a lot in common bro. 👊
That's exactly why I enjoy watching your vids as as you say we like alot of the same styles of rock and metal. The new Everdawn blew me away. I had heard a few tracks off their debut which I thought were great but Venera is absolutely superb. Happy New Year mate😀🤘

Cool list Nathan, Tailgunner is one I have had my eyes on. I like that you have some local bands in there. I don´t think I have any New Zealand band like Shepherds Reign. I have seen Exmortous shown up in a few vids and I like my melodic death so that is something I am going to check out for sure. As you like you female fronted metal rock bands a lot I have a tip for you. There is a band that started up recently called Emotinal Fire that is fully female fronted hard rock band. I saw them at Skogsröjet (a local festival) during the summer and it was really good, they have an EP out. Cheers mate!

I thought it would be a weird mix having Todd on a Apatrida song but it's really good as is the whole album. I actually prefer Shepherds Reign to Alien Weaponry. The songs are just better in my opinion. The Overkill and Obituary are brilliant. Cheers brother😀🤘

The 2 main exceptions were Cannibal Corpse and Obituary, both bands where the vocals have always put me off I'm afraid (which is frustrating as the music tends to be excellent!!) Lots of female fronted stuff as well which I'm also a big fan of. Other favourites of mine this year have included... I saw Burning Witches live in 2023 at Wacken Open Air along with so many other female fronted bands which was an awesome experience. Downunder in New Zealand we don't get the awesome festivals as Europe so was so happy to make it to Germany. In actual fact I loved it so much I am going back this year too. I don't get into the really extreme metal but do love the more melodic death and black metal. A huge thanks for the sub mate and Happy New Year😀🤘

It was such a good year for music in my wheelhouse that's for sure. I was actually a little surprised myself that it wasnt higher but just goes to show how good I rate the albums above it. When it comes to releases in 2024 I already have at least 8 on preorder coming out between January and March so I do think I will pickup a fair few but my number 1 priority this year when it comes to anything music related is saving for Wacken which is top priority. Hope you have a safe and happy lead into the new year mate😃🤘
I only have 4 of these and Tailgunner is killer thanks to you . Lucky to see Cassidy a couple times live now. She is such a down to earth person who had a long conversation with me and my daughter after one of the gigs. She will definitely have a bright future 🤘happy holidays mate
