No issues so far. Helped me out a few times in the Outback although not really tested yet (fortunately). I may have put too much locktite on but remember to do an oil change you don't have to remove the plate so I would rather it stayed on than have it fall off somewhere remote. Once you reconcile the cost it is a great buy, good protection and I think it looks good
A little attention with a heat gun (not a torch!!!) and they should come loose without breaking anything. There should be an onerous and expensive licensing requirement for purchasing or possessing Red Loctite.
Installed mine yesterday. Am still happy with it. 😂
Good for you. Still haven't used mine in 'anger" but I think it looks good as well
Thanks for sharing. The bash plate looks substantial. What was the price of the bash plate?
Hi Graham, it was in the region of about A$600
Thanks for sharing. I am yet to get the GS but like you am still at conditional approval and have to sell a bike first.

Hi! Nice video there! How’s the bash plate so far? Any issues? I’m looking to get one of these

Mike Giliam hey thanks for the update!
Not sure I would have used the red Loctite. You're gonna have a real struggle if you ever need it to come off again.
Yes I believe so. Fortunately I don't plan on taking it off and will sell the bike with it so shouldn't be a problem, hopefully!
