I could listen to this with either $600 headphones or through a McDonald's coffee straw, and you can still catch me whispering, "Yeah Bass" to myself. Seriously though, merry christmas to my listening holes.
@@DanielMakesCadences well aware of that. I was just stating that all the lines on Yamaha sound like ass. You would think that with all the DCI corps on Yamaha that there would be at least one that tuned their basses with something resembling tone.
from my experience. yamahas only sound the way the do because they have very aggressive bearing edges, which causes you to hear only the head and the shell does not resonate much. dynasty and mapex use less aggressive bearing edges that make the shell vibrate more. on top of that, yamahas have he largest lugs which absorb the vibration. mapex and ludwigs all focus on minimal shell contact
Bass 5 is feeling it

Best jonz bass since '15, hands down
Best tuned basses out there. Much better than any of the lines playing on Yamaha.
Inspadave The drum head and corps tuning method play into the sound

Inspadave Yamaha drums are more designed to cut through brass players rather than hold a specific tuning
