Academy Award® winner Emma Stone (“La La Land”) stars in Disney’s “Cruella,” an all-new live-action feature film about the rebellious early days of one of cinemas most notorious - and notoriously fashionable - villains, the legendary Cruella de Vil. “Cruella,” which is set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution, follows a young grifter named Estella, a clever and creative girl determined to make a name for herself with her designs. Given that 101 dalmatians was created in 1961, I was expecting Cruella Deville‘s story take place in the 30s and pan out like the great Gatsby. Not disappointed at all that they set this film in the late 70s, and made her punk AF.

I am very impressed with how they redid this song. A big fan of the original, but always wished it was more aggressive with nastier guitars and bass. And that extended ending from 2:38 onwards is heaven in musical form.
