Did you know you could use your phone as a webcam on your pc? You just need an app on your phone and the same programm on your pc and connect the phone via usb, then you can use your phones camera as a webcam on your pc.
Looks way better than most webcams and if you already got a phone its free!
For anyone wondering I recommend using droidcam as it supports apple,android and can work over Wi-Fi and usb
This helped me soo much. I connected my anker c200 powerconf so I can use it as a GoPro

Did you know you can (soon will be on android 14) plug your android phone to a computer and use it as a webcam?
Unfortunately this will only work using USB, but who knows, one day they may make it wireless!
Saves sooo much time if you only have a laptop and want to show someone something (prevously you had to use like DroidCam or similar)
why you want it wireless, if you still need to charge the phone anyways lol

actually i think you can use scrcpy to screencast a fullscreen camera app, then forward it to your webcam feed via obs virtual camera (the quality would be meh but it should theoretically work)

We can't use it as a security camera since the phone needs charging and has only 1 port which is being used for camera.

I would love to use a Logitech Unifying Receiver usb dongle on my iPad so i can use one of the many Logitech keyboards or mice (or the k400 mini keyboard with track pad) i have in a desk drawer. The technology for iOS to support this is already available on the iPhone, but iOS does not have software support because they want you to buy the over priced apple magic keyboard and mouse. There are newer logitech bluetooth low energy keyboards that IOS supports but they aren’t cheap either. Why should i need to buy a new keyboard when the drawer full of older ones with tech that is still in common use would do exactly what I need it to do? Android supports what I want right out of the box with no need to buy a new expensive device that is no more useful to me.
