Love your videos. I know this is an older one. I’ve talked so much about uncle mark my daughter asked. Why uncle mark is never at family reunions. I had to laugh. Keep up the good work. I play with the 3 string and a harmonica. Harmonica sounds like I’m killing a cat. With your help 3 string will sound better. Sip of jack to the mothership.
Hey man I like all your videos! I got a question... I'm not getting the tone out of my cbg's like you. Maybe you could give us newbies some tips? Is it the strings, the pickups, the amp, or maybe a pedal? Thanks man keep up the good work.
At one point I had an explainer up....I like tube amps, I think they are warmer than solid state. I'm gonna get a hard time for this but I don't think strings make as big a difference in tone as other factors. My Lace pickup is the best hands down. Very responcive clean or dirty. And now ...distortion vs overdrive prdals.....I use both at the same time. I also like a little bit of reverb and a little delay ( salt and pepper). I hope that helps a bit. The quest for tone is an endless one......oh, and it's an expensive one as well ... Good luck.

I really gotta work on getting that inversion down. Practice, practice, practice.
It's like anything new...it takes time. Once you get it, no one van take it away from you...you'll be awesome!
