I think the statue from the 1st edition was brought with the helicopter you looted but they had an engine problem and they cut the chain of the statue(or released the payload), the statue fell down in the woods and the chopper crashed shortly after! they thought they could save themselfs by dropping weight but in the end they didnt make it XD
