Thanks so much for watching. This was a really scary video to make, but I was so pleased with how it turned out. He reminds me of My sister owned too. Gotta love a ginger cat!
Thanks so much. It is better than I thought it would be. I find that if you aren't happy with it, it's not finished. Just keep stitching until it looks right is my motto!
Love it!! Gonna add this to my autumn table runner list! I didn't know what I was doing but I thread painted a chickadee and had started a squirrel. This looks so awesome and fun! You are a wonderful inspiration and such a good tutor. Hugs
Thanks so much. This was the most intimidating of all the panels I made. What a relief that it looked OK when it was done! I am not a thread painter by any means, but it was a lot of fun to do. The advantage to filming, is that if it had been awful, I would have just done something else and no-one would have ever known! I'm glad it was helpful and that it has given you some ideas. x
It totally does! Single strand thread painting creates a beautiful finish. I do find it a bit intimidating though - the thought of covering the whole space with a single strand - I didn't want to scare people off. I am really glad you like the cat. I was much happier with it than I thought I would be. x
I love this so much,I'm going to try this one as well, really nice color choices for the sweet kitty, and definitely cozy, you did an amazing job, brave fun getting out of your comfort zone,I'm working on a couple older projects first,I'm so slow and that's ok,I'm faster at felting tho,my comfort zone lol
Thank you! 😊 That means such a lot. I am getting pretty good at just doing things anyway, even if it's scary. I figured that if it went well, I would have a cat video, and if it didn't, I'd do something else and no-one would ever know! Thank goodness it turned out ok! Comfort zones are good - who wants to be uncomfortable all the time!?! lol. x
Another fabulous project thankyou Rebecca. I'm working on my mushrooms now. The soluble stabiliser I was given by a friend turned out to be not soluble so I've been picking it out with tweezers!! Look forward to trying a cat soon.
Sorry to bother you but I have tried to get the cat and mushroom pattern from you website yesterday and today and for some reason I keep getting an error processing checkout. If you have any ideas what I might be doing wrong please let me know. I haven't had issues before. Thanks.
Hi Carrie. Thanks for getting in touch. Lots of people have downloaded the pattern, so it definitely works. Usually, if there are issues, it is because there is an address detail missing. Even though you are not charged, you need to go through the checkout process. When you have done that, you will get an email with the download link. Try that. If you are still having issues, let me know and I try to get the pattern to you another way. x
@@featherstitchhouse I actually got the pattern. I checked my spam folder for a different reason and there were the orders each time I tried. So weird but now I can get started. Thanks for your reply.
Oh, Rebecca, no need to worry about how you cat turned out. It is wonderful. Love it.
Thank you so much. That's really kind of you to say. x

He’s amazing! I need to go shopping for thread, can you tell me the colours you used please.
Hi Alison. I have added a list of the thread colours I used in the description. Hope that helps. x
