I joined the Carter road swim team on the second finger at Carter road a few days ago. Been riding there for years and it was my first swim. You get out of the water very quickly when thinking about becoming gator bait
Thanks for sharing Florida's best. That was a nice presentation effect to show the map with the riding locations. The most unexpected part was that there was a climb in Florida that even you had to work for, but as I watched I wasn't surprised that you would get to the top without a foot down (unless you edited out other attempts?). Glad to see you can get out of the cold of NJ winter and still have some fun. Also glad Floridians can go experience mountain biking and all the benefits thereof. I suppose they don't have too many natural rocks and boulders so natural trials would be dead.
That low hanging branch that you guys had to duck under at alafia on Moonscape took someone out while I was there 2 weeks ago! NiCE SENDS! I went too fast on the three drops on Your Mom, crashed into the cement blocks, felt real good!
Thanks for showing “you mom” trail. I’m impressed how risky it is. At least for me Virginia Key in my home town Miami is too easy for me. Thanks for the video guys
I live in the Tampa area. Alafia is one of my favorites. Next time, check out Balm Boyette. It’s right by Alafia. You will love it. As nice as these trails are, I can’t wait to move out west and hit up the real mountain biking trails. Hoping to move to Utah or Colorado soon.
Such beautiful trails with a lot of welcome diversity! Smooth N Flowny N Jumpy along with some go down fast on the chunky chunk stuff here N there!! So jelly Jeff!! Wish we could travel to some good (dry :-) trails to well,.anywhere!! Enjoy-joy!!
I loved the video, and the channel, look forward to every one. I wish I had an idea as to why this video didn’t get watched as m any times! It’s just as solid as all of your videos. One idea, you could reach out to some of the other youtubers with channels. None of them are at your skill level, and I’m willing to bet they would all jump at the chance to ride and make content with you!
I rode Vortex today ( my first time going to this park) on my Kona Deluxe and WoW what an awesome MTB Park!! I was getting a lil nuts and being it’s been 17 years since I’ve done any real riding and nothing ever like this ,I wasn’t in the mood to leave via Ambulance 🤪 so I decided to ride the long peaceful green trails . I was very impressed with them and really enjoyed the 11 miles I rode today. I highly recommend this bike park! It’s in Ocala fla and there are apps you can download to see where the hell your at on those amazing trails 🤩✌️🇺🇸
Try Graham Swamp in Palm Coast. I used to live in Lakeland and rode Carter 2 to 3 times a week and Alafia at least once. Graham is shorter than both of those but it is has some good sections. I wouldn't go out of your way but if you're heading back up I-95 you might as well.
Jeff next time your at Alafia you really need to ride ridge line at Balm Boyette it's not far from Alafia...also there is Markham Park in Destin Florida...Mount Dora in Mount Dora, FL. John Dickenson State Park and so many more...
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss its under construction, Baileys mountain bike park, Wayne national forest in southeast Ohio. It's going to be 88 miles and within a 15 minute drive to dozen more miles at adjacent parks in Athens, sells park, strouds run state park, burr oak state park, lake hope and probably more lol. Its supposed to be the biggest trail system east of the Mississippi
Lets be honest. Of all the FL trails. Alafia is #1 and Carter Rd is 2. Santos is a close 3. Then comes Balm Boyette, JD, Markham Park and then Virginia Key.
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss lol I must admit I commented before I saw Your Mother, and that is one of the most interesting trails I have seen so far. Im in Colorado and cant mountain bike without mountains lol. I was at a free ride dirt jump park today and if it weren't for gravity I wouldn't get any air lol.
Seem that if you don't pay respect to Your Mom you end up as alligator chow 😁
Totally
Florida is on my bucket list for sure! The island music is making me long for summer!
I live 5 minutes away from santos
It's nice to see these trails ridden at speed.
You left Jersey just as the real winter kicked in! Allaire has been pretty sweet so far this winter. Cant wait for more vids. Thanks!!
Fishing ManiYaks might be riding there this weekend.
My home trails...love fla... when i first moved here i had no idea there was mtb here...theres alot more than i ever imagined....
Bill C I love it!
Like where? Im looking to try to hit as many as i can. Just got into the sport
@@MrChives less than an hour away from Miami there are 4 great mountain biking parks. Who knew such a flat place would have so much to offer
Headed to Alafia near Tampa to ride this weekend!!! So pumped to do this with my 7yo!
there's such a good variety, you'll love it.

stickfigurenoise same here I needed my friends to pull me out real quick.
Next time come down the east coast of FL. Grapefruit, JD and Markam are good ones.
thanks!
Thanks that third trail looks like a ton of fun is very scenic
it's soooo scenic!

Those trails certainly make the most of the terrain. There's a pretty substantial amount of exposure on Your Mom, it's more like a ridge line in Utah!
letsgoridebikes 100 percent. I don’t know if the water is good or bad. Soft landing... but those gators.

Ouch!!
Great video!!! That last park is Insane!!! 🤩
Just got my TRAILBOSS hoodie. Keeping me nice and warm in the frigid Northwest!
Rad!!!!

They have a really great group of riders down in central FL. I've only been once, but was amazed what they were able to do with flat land!

That’s awesome I live in Ocala and I just looked this up for Florida in general and I didn’t even know this one was here.
Nice picks and great job highlighting them, we need more wall rides in Phoenix.
I love riding in PHX but yeah, could use some wall rides!

I've been on all of those trails they're great
Nice! Jealous too, a friend is heading that way to MTB and watch the Rolex 24hr event.
The alligator just wants a hug!

For the Alifia park is there any easier ones for a beginner and what’s really cool is that I live a mile away from it
100 percent! It's super well marked. Check in with Lucy at the bike shop on site or check the trail maps.
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss is there an online link to the trail maps?
@@JhonnyBomby here ya go, the best app for this stuff! www.trailforks.com/region/alafia-river-state-park/
As a lifelong folorida resident color me surprised to find we have MTB trails in the area! I'm definately hitting Ocala soon!
I can see myself crashing and flying into the water...alligator food!
Looks like I need to plan a trip to FL, nothing but rain and mud lately here in Charlotte NC.

Oh, to be warm right now.
Robert Rinker I’m back in the frozen tundra
Jeff Lenosky at least the trails here are frozen and clear of snow today.
I miss florida riding so much 😭

Check out the Grape Fruit Trails in Palm Bay!!!!! Growing big time
Missed south Florida, Jonathan Dickinson, Markham, and Virginia key, look them up for a second trip, this year.💪👍🏻🚴♂️😎
Also grapefruit
Hey Jeff you really need to try MARKHAM PARK IN SUNRISE FL to add to your faves guaranteed
I love your vids man but those angry bees chasing are brutal!!!
Lol. Don’t stop pedaling!!
Dude. U NEED to check out Mt. Dora. It has some of the best downhill sections I've ever seen in FL.
Florida Flatland Fun!
Check Markham Park in Sunrise Fl ! Very very nice !
You should check out Graham Swamp
Freezing rain and sleet here as I watch this :(
Where ya at?
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss Fredericksburg VA
MUST checkout Markham Park in Sunrise. Best trails in Florida in my opinion.
Plan on checking out Wayne national forests new mtb pike?
Joe J tell me more! I haven’t heard about it

Cool Ride.
Is your bike a 29“ er. ?
yes! check it out at www.reebcycles.com
It's funny because I just moved from Florida and now I'm in northeast.
The GoPro effect is crazy
what kind of rear hub are you using buzzing around like that?
5:30....one slip up and you're in gator soup!
Have u been to Virginia key or Markham park
News Update: Jeff Lenosky rides with Florida Man
Shut Up and Ride lol. Sounds like an onion article.
Winter riding destination? But Reeb makes a fat bike!
very true!!!
Balm-Boyette doesn't get any love?! 😢
As a 62 year old, road cyclist…. You are… I mean …. That’s crazy. Lol.
that hub noise kind of annoying... otherwise nice video as usual
I find it so soothing!
Is that a 180 clicks?
Very cool, but hairy! Don’t fall to the left into that gator filled waterway!
Nice trails but why would you want to ride so close to the guy in front of you?
You skipped Balm Boyette!
How's the ribs? And first hour 😉
Eno's ribs are 💯 thanks for asking
You did a disservice to all those trails ... you didn't even touch on any of those parks.... what a joke
sorry you hated it
Now i know to fully avoid Florida for any and all reasons
No way!! It's so fun!
