Shanghai's crowd throwing every great lurk play down the drain. That last Magixx play was smart, he played through the crowd giving him away to the enemy and didn't get greedy after. Still a great game despite the crowd which speaks volumes about the organisers. Great job.

@@headponcho8265but it’s literally every major. I think most people have just accepted that it’s part of LAN events at this point. Even those sound proof booths don’t really work, apparently the players inside can feel the vibration when the crowd is getting louder.

Booth or turn off x-ray for stage screens. Avoid having events in terrible cities is also a good idea. There wasn't any prob at Copenhague/cologne/

Donk is battling withMonesy/Niko for the best player this year.
Like many analysts have pointed out, his role as entry is more difficult than the traditional awper and his team is weaker. if Spirit get to final, he should get the spot (anyway with HLTV garbage ranking, you never know...)

Yeki has had his chance, a slight uptick at the major isn’t what’s needed for liquid, he has to go. He’s too inconsistent for what is now a significantly lowered ceiling from previous years to be worth a spot on a team that wants to be more ambitious than just wining playoffs.
The fact he’s still around for this iteration of liquid is a miracle, he needs to figure something out if he is gonna perform to the level that’s required at a tier 1, maybe some time away could help

@@Pitty212on It really doesn´t when the crowd is clearly favoring one team in which case they always start making noise when their favorite team is getting flanked. Look all the time´s in this match up when they make noise when Spirit is flanking Liquid im pretty sure everytime they made noise was when Liquid was flanked. And ofc you can´t really blame the crowd too much since the observer could just not show every flank players attempt and turn off x-ray. Also sometimes it ofc works both ways but in this instance its very clear the crowd favored Liquid like they favored Mongolz.

Twistzz getting electroniced. Twistzz is a rifler who used to be top3 on my list(after Niko,Xantares), showing his former rifling self on dust2. I wish he’d just go back to rifling and carrying. It’s definetly not working for him when he goes full igl bot fragging on anubis.

Didn't get to watch the match live because of work. I just watched the highlights, and Liquid weren't that bad in my opinion, not as bad as how the overall game panned out. I guess Yeki didn't play that bad except for the last round whiff. We really need some serious work in our CT side. Boys were like in limbo during the entire CT half, a lot of times in fact, if not the most. I mean, how difficult is it to hold positions and defend when you are confused rather than making some blatant rotations? Sometimes aim is required more than the IQ, and today was that game, honestly. At this point, I wouldn't mind trading Yeki given how on/off he is in games, but the team itself needs a lot of work. This level of play was already not enough against hard hitters like Heroic, Faze and Vitality. I feel sad for Twistzz, but his tweet already made clear on what was missing. Anyway, props to TS, but this level of play is simply not winning you a major. Any other day, that was TL's win in Dust2. This was simply not it. Not every game is going to go the Donk's way, gifting so many clutches to the team, even though I hope them to. Best wishes.

Pretty clean 2-0 from Spirit, only disrespected and got cocky vs a weaker opponent at 12-6 in the last map. They should be favorite vs Mouz, Donk/Shiro are still monster and Zontix had finally delivered for a whole BO3.
For Liquid it was already a big win to get to playoff after Copenhague disaster. Yet it was after facing the freeest possible way to get there, losing to tier 1 team and then beating Brazil and tier 2 team. They arent good enought to compete with tier 1 team but they showed they can deal with tier 2 during one event.

If liquid want any chance of moving further in playoffs at these majors, they need to highly consider replacing someone. In my opinion drop Yakindar, he's not that player this team was looking for. He is either top fragging or playing like a bot. He has no consistency. Now that Elige is leaving Complexity it's probably best to push for him not to mention Elige is such a better entry fragger than Yekindar is. Elige might be that 1 guy they are missing which can further their push in these majors

It was some contract delay issue. He was waiting contract and it didn't come until too late or sum.
It was his decision, the contract delay was because he wasn't sure about staying and the reason is he wanted to play in America to be close to his family

It's just sad to watch team liquid. They have the history, and the money and brand to bring in top talents to play for them and be a trophy winning team.
Instead the roster they land with is,
Twisstz igl, ultimate and yekindar. Replacing yekindar or ultimate(just used as example could be anyone) won't do anything because there are no structure for this team. Who is the star player in this team? If they go Navi route do they seriously have the tactically deep coach and igl?? No in my opinion.
This is just ANOTHER 2nd caller ego ruining teams. BlameF, Device, Twisstz,Niko, Electronic, yekindar (vp days), and probably more. 2nd callers who are in their prime who are hltv top 10 material trying to lead a team when they have no knowledge of how to become an igl. Igls are not just callers, they are so much more. They are the leaders of a team and they lead not just with calling but also by their charisma and wit.
I think in the long run ultimate will be a good pickup, first map he was cooking but the team didn’t pick up the rest of the slack, second yea he went missing
You obviously have no idea what a good IGL is. “Ego 2nd callers”?. Buddy you always need that 2nd caller. Someone besides that coach that can give there input. People like Niko and Twistzz have experience. Even when Simple was playing. He was the 2nd caller on Navi. Now there is a difference between 2nd caller and Primary IGL. IGLs sacrifice for the team. They make calls and try to put the team in the best position to win. Liquid are not bad even with Twistz as a caller. I do feel like Yekindar does hold them back. Ultimate is a young pro who is newer to the pro scene. With experience he will get better and has amazing potential. He’s already playing great. But don’t go calling 2nd callers ego callers. Literally a dumb take.

I was rather showcasing good 2nd callers like elec and twisstz, getting a big ego and thinking they can become igl and lead a team for trophies WHILE also being induvitually being hltv top 10 material. It doesn't work, liquid isnt spending boat load of money on twisstz so he can igl, they got him because he was an insane player. Igling RUINS you induvitually, only Niko has ever managed to keep an individual level even after igling.
