I thought of it as a Progressive Black Metal song...

I remember listening to Midian back in 2000 and was blown away, never heard anything like it before and followed them ever since. I liked the song.

England representing AGAIN, swear you boys are closest Englishman, and I'm all for it lol Cradle Of Filth will always be my favourite black metal band, Dani's vocals are always hard hitting, and not for everyone, but, you can't deny the talents of the band, the drummer is ridiculously good, the lead guitarist has some of the catchiest riffs ever, my favourite riff of all time is a riff on the song From The Cradle To The Enslave, videos are always so theatrical and beautiful, and that's why Dani Filth made his own horror film called Cradle Of Fear(check it out) it's not great, but it's got some gory parts in it, and I like how they evolve with the time, but also keep it original and stick to their roots too, I've also met Dani Filth when I went to see his other band Devilment, he was drinking in the pub next to the venue, and he's really well spoken and he's tiny too, but he's actually a really cool guy, so, got alot of time for this band, great reaction as always feller, much love from Stoke On Trent, England

Got to meet them at Ozzfest when they toured for Damnation and a Day. Nicest, most down-to-earth dudes ever. Also Sarah was still with them at that point so got to meet her too. such a great memory.

Their new album is great lot of new unique guitar riffs for them a lot more ambience and the songs are great as a whole. Can actually differentiate tracks. Last Cradle album i enjoyed was Godspeed On The Devils Thunder

I have no clue whats going on with the guitarists hands, because their palm muting is one of the fastest Ive ever heard. Magic wrists

anything before Damnation & A Day is them at grass roots level. the best most recent album to start with would possibly be Godspeed On Devils Thunder - good mix of old and new sound.

As one of the ladies in the video - makeup doesn't take long but the prosthetics on the King and Christ take a long LONG time.
